Bracknell Forest Council offered their young people an amazing outdoor experience through Outdoor Academy and we were delighted to be part of their day....

Louise Maclennan (Child Participation Development Officer) August 2024 says:

“Our post 18 group had a fantastic day out and all said they’d love to do more of them.

Some of our group were really nervous about the activities but on seeing Braccan the dog, they all smiled and loved fussing over them, its instantly relaxed them!

Outdoor Academy staff were relaxed, friendly and went with the flow which suited our group. Instruction was professional and the right side of encouragement when some thought they couldn’t do the climbing.

Everyone did the climbing which was great, and they went home feeling positive and feeling like they’d achieved!

Canoeing was great, we were lucky enough to have great weather but Theale lake is beautiful.

Equipment was great and we had lots of fun in the canoes.

Outdoor Academy Instructors were brilliant, clearly know their sports and work with young people in a positive, professional and fun manner, making our day one we’d love to do again.”

As one of the leading providers of Outdoor Activities tailored for special education, we are offering a very competitive salary, a contributory pension scheme and up to 12 weeks holiday a year for enthusiastic instructors to come on board.

Vacancies include:

Outdoor Instructor: Up to £28,000 plus pension plus up to 12 weeks holiday per year

Senior Outdoor Instructor: Up to £35,000 plus pension plus up to 12 weeks holiday per year
