What a fantastic 4 days with guests from the 🇺🇸 . Staying in the heart of Bourg d’Oisans we were able to choose many wonderful routes. We lucked out with the weather 🌞 and no rain, the highlight being cycling up the infamous Alpe d'Huez without stopping. 2 hours of solid riding and determination up one of the most iconic rides in Europe. Great fun with café stops and evening meals. Everything was arranged from bike hire to transportation to accommodation. Guests left as friends and very happy with their trip.

Fantastic as always supporting collecting bikes from Birmingham-Greenwich Park London ready for the 200+ riders cycling from London-Paris over the next 3-4 days. You can see from the organised mayhem in the video as riders eagerly anticipating what’s going to unfold over the next few days, whether they are newbies or old hands at it! The highlight for me was talking (some Spanish) to Geo in the selfie who at 84 years old YES 84 is an absolute legend and inspiration to us all. I wish all the riders a safe ride and let’s hope the weather 🌦️ stays ok.

I managed to ride it today early before any weekend traffic. I must say it’s a cracking route.
