Mindful breathing together is very powerful and the little ones in my nursery classes have become experts. There are different types that we enjoy together:
Bee breathing 🐝
Flower breathing 🌺
Hot chocolate breathing 🍫
Turtle breathing 🐢
Seeing little ones as young as 2 being able to focus on this skill each week has been wonderful 🥰

Tingsha bells help us to open and close our yoga practice. The children are invited to close their eyes or soften their gaze. Quite often the excitement of the bells brings out the giggles which I love, absolute joy on their faces!

Props bring so much joy to the sessions, scarves are a crowd pleaser! The children love the colours and being able to choose their favourite. They love the texture and being able to ball them up and release them, throw them in the air, watch them fall, cover their body parts. A simple prop that has endless play possibilities! I always say that if you give a child a prop and one thing to do with it, they will find 10 more ideas! Curiosity and play at its finest 🥰
