🌟 How can we get better at something? By constantly challenging ourselves! 💪🏃‍♂️

This year, I pushed myself each week to run, even though it’s not my favorite activity. But, the feeling after a run? Priceless! 🏅

Some weeks, my energy dips, I have to stop and start and I think about turning back. Other weeks, I push through. With a Hyrox event booked at the end of August, I recognized running as one of my weak spots, so I focused on it. On race day, it wasn’t as tough as I expected! 🎉

With another hyrox sim just a few weeks away, I’m determined to keep improving my time. As a coach, I face challenges myself daily, but it's essential to keep pushing forward because you’ll never regret the effort. The only regret comes from giving up! 🚀✨

Summer can be a tough season for anyone trying to shed a few pounds. With the sunny weather, family outings, and a break from routine, it’s easy to hit pause on our goals. I’ve struggled with this myself.

While hitting the gym feels manageable, the real challenge lies in finding the motivation to plan meals, maintain balance, and stay active. But now that the kids are going back to school, it’s time to regain that routine and focus on our goals with fewer distractions.

Here are afew of my client check-ins, remember, the journey has its ups and downs, like a roller coaster, but consistency is key here 🔑

🌟 Meet this incredible woman who’s been on her journey with me for the past few months! Despite facing numerous health challenges, she refuses to let anything hold her back. Every day, she diligently tracks her food, meets her hydration goals, and walks more steps than she ever thought possible, even with chronic pain and fatigue. ✨

Now entering week 3 of her holiday, she continues to check in, making mindful food choices, and she’s thrilled to be wearing a dress that didn’t fit back in March! While the scale hasn’t changed drastically, the progress photos tell a truly inspiring story. The best part? She’s fitting into clothes that were once too tight, and that feeling is priceless! 💖 How amazing does she look?! This lady has been an absolute dream to work with and I look forward to celebrating more wins with her!!

🌟 What a week for growth and personal bests! For the second week in a row, I crushed my 5k PB from 28mins to 26mins! 🏃‍♂️ Huge for me as I'm not a runner! I also hit a PB of 100kg on my squats for 4reps and nailed 5 unassisted chin-ups for 3 rounds! 💪

Every day, I'm learning and growing. I may not know it all or do it all, but I'm determined to keep pushing beyond my limits—even when self-doubt creeps in. Why wouldn't I? The body achieves what the mind believes! 🙌

So, don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone. You won’t regret it! Let’s keep striving for greatness together! 💥

I’d like to share my personal journey from an 8-week shred that began in April. I started off in less-than-ideal shape, but now I’m feeling leaner and shifting my focus to gradually increasing weights and upping my protein intake. I can actually see myself building muscle!

I felt drawn to becoming a coach because I understand the struggles involved. I know how challenging it can be, especially on tough days when you’re tempted to give up. But pushing through those moments leads to such a rewarding feeling.

I’m still working towards becoming the best version of myself, and I’m aware that this process takes time. However, with a balanced diet and regular exercise, I can see and feel my progress, and it feels amazing!

It’s not just about looking good; it’s also about achieving personal bests at the gym, leaving behind the stresses of the day, and connecting with others who share in these victories. Those moments truly nourish the soul. Just wanted to share my own results with you all! I hope maybe someone sees this and thinks you know what that sounds like the perfect environment for me. Be it online or actually joining the gym I'm at. I have to say I love it, the training program is so well put together and there is absolutely no messing about, you know what you're doing and you're worked hard while having a bit of craic too! If I can do it, anyone can do it!

2. Follicular Phase (Days 6-14): Energy levels typically rise as estrogen increases. This is a great time to boost your workouts and try new activities!

3. Ovulatory Phase (Days 15-17): You might feel your best here, with heightened energy and motivation. Use this phase to push yourself harder in the gym!

4. Luteal Phase (Days 18-28): Cravings and hunger can increase due to hormonal changes. I can help you navigate these challenges by adjusting your calorie intake so that you stay satisfied without guilt.

So I feel like this deserves a wee post.

I am not a runner, infact I hate it 😂 but next week I am doing a hyrox sim and I'm trying to push myself out of my comfort zone. So last Thursday this was a massive pb for me!

As an online coach, I thought it would be good to put it out there that it's not every aspect of training that I enjoy. I love a good weights session, I love a challenge, but running 🤮

However what sort of coach would I be, if I didn’t try new things, push myself out of my comfort zone and do things I encourage my own clients to do?? The answer to that is a s**t one!

Health and fitness is all about trying new things, setting goals, achieving them, challenging yourself, pushing yourself out of your comfort zone. If it was easy, everyone would be doing it....

So if today you got up and done 1% more than you did yesterday, that right there is a win. If you challenged yourself to something completely new or out of your comfort zone, that too is a win!!!

So celebrate them, be proud of yourself for trying. It doesn't matter how long it took you, how out of breath you were, if it made you sick, none of that matters. What matters is your effort and believing in yourself for giving it a go! So if this resonates with you, I just want to say WELL DONE TO YOU AND THAT I THINK YOU ARE AMAZING AND KEEP GOING 👏👏👏

You'll be surprised where it takes you! Just as I was on Thursday when I ran this without stopping and within 30mins. You can do anything you put your mind to ✨️✨️✨️
