A galaxy burns! 🔥🐀🎲🏴‍☠️🔥

Yesterday, 8 of the Ramsey Dice Pirates’ finest sat down for an epic game of Twilight Imperium 4th Edition… and emerged 12 hours later blinking into the str**tlight, exhausted and triumphant!

After a day full of diplomacy, betrayal, desperate scoring plays, exploded planets and more betrayal (looking at you, Adam! 👀 😄), the galaxy finally bent the knee.

🏆 Jamie, playing as the Ghosts of Creuss, navigated the chaos of space and politics alike to claim victory and be crowned Emperor of the Galaxy.

Huge, huge thanks to everyone involved for the commitment, the laughs, the snacks, and the unforgettable moments. Twilight Imperium remains one of those games that reminds us why we love big, ridiculous, all-day board game sessions.

🚀 Twilight Imperium – All-Day Galactic Showdown! 🚀

Ramsey Dice Pirates are hosting a big game of Twilight Imperium on Saturday 21st February at Quayle’s Hall, and you’re invited to stake your claim among the stars.

For the uninitiated, Twilight Imperium is an epic sci-fi strategy game of diplomacy, warfare, trade, and political intrigue. Players take control of powerful interstellar factions, negotiating alliances one moment and launching fleets the next, all in pursuit of galactic dominance.

⚠️ Fair warning: this is a big game. Expect at least 8 hours of play, but we’ll be running it as a relaxed, social day rather than a marathon slog. Several breaks will be scheduled throughout so people can grab food, stretch their legs, or even pop home if needed. We’re planning to order pizzas for the evening session, so no one has to plot a military invasion on an empty stomach 🍕😉.

Whether you’re a seasoned space emperor or curious to experience one of the most legendary board games ever made, come along for a full day of dice, deals, and dramatic betrayals.

Snow fell hard on the colony walls,
Matthew got munched and morale did fall,
Trust ran thin in the frozen halls,
In the dead of winter’s tale!

A fortune teller wielding a mop,
No commas allowed and no full stops,
Predicted doom then armed men dropped,
In the dead of winter’s tale!

A creepy janitor keeping things in a jar,
A hobbit with a gun in the grocery store,
The zombies really aren’t the problem any more,
In the dead of winter’s tale!

Then Sparky the stunt dog took command,
Paws on deck and a firm dog-stand,
Best damn leader in the land,
In the dead of winter’s tale!

Then a minibus rolled with a busted frame,
Full of zombies, all teeth (Jamie’s team’s to blame!),
Delivery to Jon’s gang, end of game,
In the dead of winter’s tale!

Now here’s to the crew who rolled with cheer,
Thanks for the laughs throughout the year,
Ramsey Dice Pirates, friends sincere,
Through all of ‘25!
