A simple chipping lesson that can make a huge difference around the greens.

In this session, & I worked on setup, strike, landing spot and taking the panic out of those little shots just off the green. Because let’s be honest, you can hit it well for 400 yards, but if your short game disappears, the scorecard soon lets you know.

This is the part of golf that saves shots. Cleaner contact, better control, more confidence, and learning to let the club do the work.

Still trying to process this one…

My first event on the mic in front of over 1,000 people at the First even of the Caddy Comps Blitz Golf Series at Leeds Golf Centre and honestly, what an incredible day.

A huge thank you to everyone involved for the opportunity. From the atmosphere, the crowd, the activations, the music from DJ JAMIE ANNE , and getting to meet the likes of Ben Firth , Owen Meeds Kelsey Mac and Temps , it really was one of those days where you just have to stop and take it all in.

I even got to have a pre-match chat with my good friend Cooper | The Postmans Par | Performance Coach before he went up against tour pros, including RICHARD MANSELL , who went on to win the event on the day.

A special mention to Simon Dyson & Michele’ Forgione who were incredible with me on the day! Boss meeting you boys!

If that isn’t a pinch-me moment, I don’t know what is.

We had Blitz veterans like Glenn Maxwell in the mix, Daniel Gale showing exactly how this format should be played, leading through two rounds and making it all the way to the final hole, and so many brilliant moments across the day.

I also had a go at the nearest to the pin challenge… which very quickly reminded everyone why I was on the mic and not on the golf course.

But the most special part?

I got to share the whole experience with my family and I think we may have caught my dad having a little proud dad moment.

Blitz Golf is only just getting started, and with three more events still to come, I genuinely think this series is going to be sensational.

Golf in Cornwall just hits differently.

Coastal views, wind off the sea, proper links-style character and tee shots that make you stop and take it all in - this is exactly why UK golf travel deserves more attention.

This round had everything I love about golf: great scenery, unpredictable conditions and that feeling of discovering a course you’d happily come back to again.

Working through a simple golf swing drill to tighten up strike, start line and club path.

Sometimes the best practice sessions are not about smashing balls - they are about understanding where the club is moving, what the ball flight is telling you, and making small adjustments that actually transfer to the course.

A proper little ball striking session, working with alignment sticks, feel, feedback and trying to get the swing moving in the right direction.

There’s something so satisfying about a clean wedge strike into a green - especially when the swing, the tempo, and the flight all come together.

This was the SF002 56° wedge from 95 yards, and for me this clip is all about the feel of the strike, the shape of the swing, and that simple aesthetic that makes golf so addictive.

Sometimes it is not about the outcome.

Sometimes it is just about the sound, the strike, and the swing.

Tour, this kind of week gives a pretty strong answer.
