✈️ FOWC World Flyball Championships ✈️

Almost two weeks on and we've just about recovered from a fantastic experience at the World Flyball Championships in Norfolkhosted by Cambridgeshire Flyball ! 🐾

We had great fun, catching up with old friends, making new ones, and we loved seeing teams from all over the world in attendance particularly the Canadians who took great efforts to be there.

Saturday’s speed trials racing was really successful with Aces setting a decent time in the first leg and Aces Hijack achieving the same early on. This meant the pressure was off both teams and everyone could relax and have fun. Aces won all their legs for the day and decided to push a time on the final set and boy did we! First leg and we set a new FOWC record of 14.37! Our success, however was short lived as the following day Storm Chasers Flyball Team broke it by setting another new record – Huge congrats guys!

Sunday saw Aces seeded 1st in Division one where we saw some of the most impressive racing we’ve ever seen with great technique and great sportsmanship!

Our final placing for Aces in Division 1 was ranked 8th in the world (one up from 2024) and Aces Hijack in Division 3 being ranked 26th.

Overall the weekend was a huge success and great fun, fast dogs, great friends, KanJam, Disc with Marrissa and so many funny moments we can’t count them!

We can’t wait to get ready for our next big event the UKFL Championships!

Thanks to Marissa Dakin Lachance for the disc tips, Jodi Williams for picking up the captaincy reins for Aces Hijack, you smashed it! Vicky Elms for the hilarious party games night, cambs for a brilliantly run event and mostly to my team for being so supportive, dedicated and for being the best group of people I could ask for!

A HUGE thank you to and for working with us to supply our amazing FOWC pointy faces with some BEAUTIFUL fleeces and blankets in the most PERFECT colour for the team! I’m sure you will be seeing more of these across our socials in the coming months - the fleeces being perfect for warm ups and cool downs (and camping evenings!), and the blankets perfect for drizzly weather to chuck on and off quickly! We absolutely love them 💙

And what a day for the record books! 🚨 Congratulations to Aces High for setting a brand-new FOWC record with an astonishing 14.37 seconds, raising the bar once again and showcasing truly world-class flyball racing ⚡🏆
