Billy; full up 14.2hh, 6 year old, registered connemara, gelding. Scored 72% in his first dressage with us. Schooled up to 1m at home, super honest and unbothered about fillers. XC schooled in Ireland. Good to hack. Ready to go out and have some fun now! No novices 💰8000

Zia; approx 16hh, 4 year old, AES registered Warmblood X Irish Draught (heartwinner X aye aye skippy), mare. Recently backed, riding sweetly in all 3 paces, popped a fence under saddle and proving to enjoy it. Good to hack. Ready to start going out! No novices due to age and stage of training 💰8500

Rosie; approx 13hh, registered welsh section C, mare, 15 years old. Been there & done it previously, inc pony club camps at somerford farm. Done XC and SJ training with a young girl. Has had a year off due to being outgrown. Ideal lead rein/second pony (possibly first pony). 💰3500

‘Newgap Roseanne’ aka Rosie 🌹
13hh, registered welsh section C, 15 year old, mare.

Ideal lead rein/second pony or potential first pony in the right home.
Has done all pony club activities including camps at somerford farm.
Rosie was current owners’ first pony and they have had many years of fun together hacking and taking part in pony club activities. She has had a quiet year due to being outgrown and was brought back into work a month before coming to me (has been with me a week).
With me Rosie has been fantastic hacking out in company on the lanes and open spaces, happy to canter along in the open fields behind other ponies or alongside. We have had small children on her on the lead rein and she looked after them.
Honest to jump and seems to really enjoy it.
Good to handle on the ground, will stand for fuss/groom/bath. Good to catch, comes to call!

The only reason I describe her as a potential first pony is that I have found her a little spooky when working alone. However, she is sensible and enjoyable when ridden with company or with a person on the ground (lead rein).
Unfortunately when out of work last year rosie did develop laminitis, she had never suffered with it previously. However this is well managed with bare paddock turnout, hay and exercise.

She is looking for a knowledgeable, loving home where she can continue to have fun and be someone’s special pony.
This is a very sad sale for her owners.

✨Billy✨ 14.2hh, 6 year old, Registered Connemara, gelding

A quality young Connemara gelding with Class 1 breeding throughout and N/N status. Billy has all the attributes to make a super all rounder, working hunter, show pony, or grassroots competition prospect.

Billy was backed and ridden away in Ireland, where he SJ and XC schooled before being imported to the UK. On arrival he was a little nervous, so after initial groundwork with his owner he was sent to me for further education.

Over the past few weeks Billy has really started to blossom. He is proving to be a genuine and willing pony, happily hacking both alone and in company on the lanes and open fields. He works regularly in our grass arena and has attended an arena hire where he behaved impeccably and happily jumped everything asked of him.

He has recently competed at his first dressage competition, scoring an impressive 72% in an Intro test while taking the atmosphere completely in his stride.
Loads and travels fantastically, will happily stand on the box at a show.

Billy is a lovely mover with plenty of presence. He moves straight, covers the ground well for a pony of his size, and has a naturally flashy way of going. He is clean-limbed and has all the ingredients to excel in the right home.

Billy can still become worried or tense at times, both ridden and on the ground. He is therefore looking for a kind, quiet, and confident rider who can continue to guide and develop him. He thrives on reassurance and consistency and always tries his best. He is not particularly spooky, is very willing, and never says no to a new challenge.

Billy would not suit a nervous or unbalanced rider, as he gains confidence from his rider’s confidence. He has never bucked, reared, or shown any nasty behaviour and is a genuine pony with a bright future ahead of him.

Due to his sensitive nature, ridden videos will be required before viewings are arranged.

Billy is now regularly attending shows and gaining experience, so his value is expected to increase as his education progresses.
