🚲 GIVE A BIKE. CHANGE A LIFE. 🚲
Do you have a bike sitting in the shed or garage that still has life left in it but never gets used?

Would you like it to go to a new home and help somebody in need within the West Sussex community?

That’s exactly what the West Sussex Bike Project is here for.

We’re looking for unwanted bikes that we can repair, service and find new homes for.

Some bikes will be donated directly to people in the community who may not otherwise be able to afford one, while others will be sold through The Bicycle Exchange, with profits going towards supporting our West Sussex charity partners.

We are happy to take bikes that are:
✅ Still in usable condition
✅ In need of minor repairs
✅ No longer being used but too good to throw away

Every donated bike has the chance to make a real difference. ❤️

Do you know someone in West Sussex who could really benefit from a bike but can’t afford one?

At West Sussex Bike Project, we take donated bikes, lovingly repair them, and gift them to people in our community who need them most.

We’re looking for genuine nominations, so please tell us about someone you think deserves a bike and why it would make a difference in their life.

- Improving health or wellbeing
- Regaining independence
- Helping the community

DONATE OR NOMINATE
We're looking for bikes and for people who need them. Whether you have a bike that's not being used but still has plenty of life left in it or you know of somebody that could really use a bike but doesn't have the funds for one, we want to hear from you.

All bikes we receive will be fully serviced and then either passed on to those in the community that are in need for a bike but may not be able to afford one or they will be sold on through The Bicycle Exchange with profits being passed on to our West Sussex based charity partners.

The charities we are currently working with are Turning Tides Ending Local Homelessness and Chestnut Tree House.

We are happy to take any bikes that are still in a usable condition or just need minor repairs to get working.

Set up by The Bicycle Exchange as a charitable extension of the business, The West Sussex Bike Project has been created to help make use of bikes that many people have lying around at home just gathering dust and are no longer needed.
