Wow !! This is absolutely awsome !

✨ surpasses £1 million fundraising mark!

We incredibly delighted to announce that the highly-anticipated Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon, in partnership with Clarion, has surpassed the £1 million mark in fundraising efforts with just one month to go until the event.

Inspired by former Leeds Rhinos captain Kevin Sinfield OBE’s running challenges in recent years in support of his friend and team mate Rob, the event has motivated thousands of others to take on their own marathon challenge, whether it be the Motor Neurone Disease community or charity of their own choice.

This very special event will be the county’s biggest, brightest and most exciting running event in recent history. Marking the first time that the city has hosted a marathon in over twenty years, inspiring fundraisers, club runners and first timers are getting ready to lace up their trainers for the 26.2-mile challenge.

Over half of the field are expected to be first time marathon runners, with the event reaching runners as far and wide as the US, Canada, South Africa and China.

In a spectacle of colour and excitement, over 12,000 runners will be hitting the streets of Leeds on Sunday 14th May. We cannot wait!

Truly humbled by everyone who has supported our MND Rob Burrow inspired runs and walks this weekend.

What started as a paypal pool for the club members to chuck their sponsorship in got shared by a member on Facebook.
Once one shared it, a few others did too and our aim of raising a few quid before Saturday has escalated to over £1700.

Well done Pudsey Runners & Walkers!
Thank you to all friends, families and colleagues for your kind donations!

All we need now is to win the Cup on Saturday afternoon...

Pudsey Runners were proud to host “The Pudsey Palava” trail race this evening.

Over 120 runners took part on this brand new, self navigated course setting off from our home at Pudsey Bowling Club, taking in the picturesque (and muddy) Fulneck valleys before finishing off back at the club for refreshments.

Thanks to all the visiting runners for coming along and braving the conditions and thanks to our members and some of the bowling club members for helping either in the valley, in the car park or in the bar at the club

The Pudsey Palava Trail Race

Wednesday 31st July 2019

Venue: Pudsey Bowling, Running & Table Tennis Club, Windmill Hill, Pudsey LS28 8JQ

A mainly off-road race of approx. 5.5 to 6 miles following written instructions.

Registration from 6.15pm and start when you like between 6.30pm and 7.30pm.

Entry £5.00 affiliated and £7 unaffiliated and get a £2 drinks voucher in the club on production of your race number.

Held under UKA rules, TRA permit applied for.

Min. age for runners is 16 years old.

All runners receive a set of written instructions to navigate the course.
No mass start, turn up and run individually or in small groups.
Start when you are ready, your time will be recorded like a time trial.
Prizes for the quickest male, female and team to complete the course.
Enjoy a run in the countryside and stay for a drink in the club.

Pudsey Runners would like to promote the new Up & Running Social Run Group (SRG).

SRG is a fun, friendly and free social run from Up & Running at Headingley every Monday at 6pm. Everyone is welcome and nobody gets left behind. New for 2019, you now earn rewards with every run you do!!!

Pudsey Runners descended on the Bradford 10k today!
What a turnout - the club paid for a coach to transport members and supporters the few miles into Bradford.
A great day was had by all, PB’s were set, smashed and demolished before back to the club for a well earned pint!

A huge well done to all our members who ran this morning.
