Saturdays mini tournament saw us host Stocksfield yellows & Throckley at Eastwood Park

Our first game saw Stocksfield Yellows turn a game on its head in the first 5 mins with one of their players banging in 5 of their 6 goals. Pretty much an uphill struggle after that and ended up 6-0, however a much improved second half saw us keep a clean sheet and work for the ball much harder!

In the 2nd game we started faster and looked to redeem our previous 20 minutes of football, we managed to find the net 5 times and some excellent performed from the boys on the pitch!

PYC Mags 4 - 1 PYC Merlins

Another derby game for the Mags this time against the Merlins.
We started quick and looked to try and break down the space and move the ball which is what we’ve been working hard on at training 👏🏼

A goal each for William ⚽️ and James ⚽️ and then a superb brace from Harry which also saw him an outstanding Man of the Match Award ⚽️⚽️⭐️

PYC mags 5 - 7 Stocksfield Yellow / Orange

After a blinding start to the game we thought we were going to have this one all wrapped up but Stocksfield came back fighting and scored some great individual goals to give them the win.

We worked really hard at training on Thursday and it was absolutely amazing to see it pay off with the goals we scored. Great passing and moving off the ball made the game of football look easy. Onwards to the next one
