We’re proud our coach is the Central & East Regional Development Coach award winner, offering high-quality coaching opportunities for all ages and abilities. Horsenden (Risboro’) Lawn Tennis Club was founded in 1939 and has the benefit of a long term lease on Windsor Playing Fields together with the local cricket and football clubs. Windsor Playing Fields are in an attractive rural location in Hor

senden Lane within walking distance of the railway station and town of Princes Risborough. There are 4 hard courts with floodlights, a club house with kitchen and toilet facilities as well as practice wall and adequate free parking on site. We are a friendly, local club who welcome players of all abilities from beginners to local league players. Ages range from juniors of 4 years old up to pensioners of 80+ with a reasonable balance between males and females. The club has around 150 members who are able to enjoy social tennis, club sessions, tournaments, league matches and coaching. As an LTA (Lawn Tennis Association) affiliated club, Horsenden's aim is to be a sociable and friendly place for those who enjoy their tennis. We see ourselves as the first choice for any tennis players who move into the area, as well as those wanting to dust off their rackets and get started again! Our aim is to grow by 10% each year, however membership numbers are not currently restricted. The club is managed by a committee of 9 volunteers who are elected by the members on an annual basis.

We are absolutely thrilled to share some incredible news… Horsenden has been named Tennis Club of the Year 2025! 🎉

This achievement belongs to every single one of you - our players, volunteers, and community. Your passion, dedication, and team spirit have made this possible 💙

After an outstanding year, winning EIGHT divisions, we were proudly and deservedly crowned with this amazing title 🙌
