Receiving messages like this honestly lights me up inside! ✨
Most women originally come along to my classes for the yoga because it’s a yoga class after all🧘♂️
I hear from you all consistently that our discussion part of class really benefits you in preparing for baby’s arrival. It’s a safe space where you can be honest and real at such an important, vulnerable time in your life. My intention in this part of class as a trained Doula, is to help you get excited, informed and to release your fears and anxieties around birthing and upcoming motherhood. There’s so much power in women sharing and feeling supported, held and heard during this special time in your life! 🥰
We all know that it’s important to maintain fitness and strength during pregnancy. To keep ourselves healthy and strong as our pregnant bodies are constantly growing and changing. Stretching and moving in a gentle and safe way feels soooo good. It’s also a great way to increase your stamina and prepare yourself both physically and mentally for birth! 💪
Some ladies choose to practice pregnancy yoga, some train with a prenatal qualified PT, some choose swimming, walking or pregnancy pilates.
Whatever you choose it’s important to always make sure that the fitness professional you work with is appropriately prenatal qualified. 🤰
