Today was a return to the place it all began, The Chipping tournament last year was the inception of the 3rd Lostock Hall team in our age group that would become the mighty Reds.
That team finished 15th out of 16 teams, but was the start of a wonderful thing! One year on, a few new faces and a great team spirit and we have finished in 8th place, something the coaches are really proud of!
๐ด Jude wasn't feeling great today, but battled on and was a rock at the back as we finished the group stage in 2nd place.
๐ด Dara was everywhere again today, popping up with goals and working just as hard defensivly!
๐ด Hudson's energy and strength in running was a massive part of how we played today. Constantly winning the ball and driving us forward.
๐ด Toby was superb today, especially in the semi-final, some of the last ditch tackles he made were unbelievable!
๐ด Today's Parents Player of the match went to the whole team, for the effort they put in! Dara made the decision to award the trophy to Nancy. She worked her socks off up top and watching how far she has come since this time last year is incredible! ๐
๐ด Another Tournament another Semi-Final goal for our Rocket on the Right, Ronnie! He filled in a couple of times up top today and put in a real shift for the Reds! ๐
Another Semi-Final under our belts, one day we will get to a final! Today it wasn't to be, but on the car journey home, reflecting on the last 12 months, there was 2 very proud coaches!
