🏆⛳ 𝗔𝗦𝗛𝗧𝗢𝗡 & 𝗟𝗘𝗔 𝗠𝗘𝗠𝗕𝗘𝗥𝗦 𝗗𝗢 𝗨𝗦 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗨𝗗 ⛳🏆

What a fantastic achievement for Ashton & Lea members Davinia Barton and Jake Greavson, who proudly represented the club at the Lancashire Golf with Disabilities Tournament at Lytham Green Drive Golf Club.

There was plenty to celebrate, with Davinia coming away with the win 🏆, while Jake produced a great first-day round in the nett competition, shooting a nett 76. A brilliant effort from them both and a proud moment for everyone at the club. 👏⛳

Reflecting on the competition, Davinia said:

Jimbo's Quiz Night. Many thanks to the 14 teams who played the Quiz last night. Congratulations to 'Fore Right' in second place with 90 pts and well done to our winners 'Young at Heart' with a mighty 92pts. A magnificent £411 raised for the Captains charities. Also a thank you to Peter Hart for his donation of £100 from his Super 6 competition. Next Quiz will be "The Easy Peasy Almost Christmas Quiz" on Friday 13 November. Christmas Jumpers mandatory.

A fantastic result for Ashton & Lea as we retained the Johnson Shield with a resounding 16–8 victory over Knott End Golf Club ⛳👏

The match was played in great spirits, with excellent sportsmanship shown by both teams throughout.
