By joining fellow UK training farriers we discussed proposals of future apprentice training.

Shoe making standard setting from multiple time world champion farrier⚒️🔥

Lecure on equine Bio hazards & infectious diseases which are unfortunaltey on the increase ☣️

Through to maintaining mental wellness and mitigating the stresses of running a busy farriery practice 🧘‍♀️🤯

A great day laid on by the enthusiastic and experienced team at college

I'm not currently looking to train right now but its good to know that if the right candidate comes along who inspires me, then the door can be opened 🙂

I don't go to the yard with the strangles outbreak but out of respect for the wider equine community and health of all equines, and some assurance to my clients, I will be: ✅️Clothes changing
✅️Washing hands
✅️Sterilizing tools -Upon leaving each yard premesis until it has been fully eradicated.

Buried in the hedge line at home I stumbled across this old shoe. Hard to age it exact but defo in the region of 100- 200 years old. Heels turned over for a stud like grab so used for farm work and dirt roads 🙂
