⚽️🔴⚪️ TOURNAMENT DAY AT LLAY WELFARE 🔴⚪️⚽️

Prestatyn Sports headed to a tournament at our friends at Llay Welfare this morning, and what an effort from both of our teams! 👏

🐉 Prestatyn Sports Dragons topped their group with some brilliant performances.

🔴 Prestatyn Sports United finished second in their group, securing their place in the semi-finals.
The original semi-final draw would have given us Prestatyn vs Prestatyn and Llay vs Llay, so we switched things around to make it Prestatyn vs Llay in both semi-finals! ⚽️

Semi-Final 1 🐉 Dragons 1–3 Llay
Semi-Final 2 🔴 United 2–0 Llay

That sent United through to the final, where they gave everything but eventually lost out 2–0 to Llay.

👏 No Player of the Match awards today — every single one of our 8 players was amazing and played their part. We couldn't pick between them!

A massive thank you to Llay Welfare for having us and putting on another great morning of football. 🤝⚽️

A brilliant session for our U6s at The Football Lab! 👏⚽️

The boys had the opportunity to take part in a team training session with the Football Lab coach Jamie, working on their skills, confidence and most importantly having plenty of fun! 💪⚽️

⚽🔴⚪ PRESTATYN SPORTS U6s – 2026/27 FIXTURES ARE HERE! ⚪🔴⚽

The countdown to the new season is officially on! 🙌
Our Prestatyn Sports United and Prestatyn Sports Dragons fixtures are out for the 2026/27 Rhyl & District League U6 season, and we can't wait to see both teams back out on the pitch. ⚽

Two teams representing the same badge, supporting each other and developing together throughout the season. ❤️

🏆 PRESTATYN SPORTS U6s – PENTRE TOURNAMENT ⚽🔴⚫

What a day for our Under 6s! 🙌
Prestatyn Sports took two teams – United and Dragons – to the Pentre tournament today, and after a brilliant effort from both sides, they ended up meeting each other in the semi-final! 👏

It was the Dragons who came out on top with a 2–1 victory, so they've got the bragging rights for now! 🐉🏆

But they might not have them for long… 👀

⚽ A Great Morning of Football at Prestatyn Sports! ⚽

Our Under 6s welcomed two teams from Athletic and one from St Asaph this morning for a round-robin of football in perfect conditions.

It was a really enjoyable morning, with every child giving 100% effort, playing some great football and, most importantly, having a good time with their teammates and opponents.

A massive thank you to Athletic and St Asaph for coming over, and to all the coaches, parents and supporters who turned up and helped make it such an enjoyable morning.

Plenty of smiles, plenty of football and a great atmosphere throughout — exactly what football at this age should be about! 👏⚽

Prestatyn Sports United and Dragons travelled to Blacon today to take part in a fantastic tournament featuring 24 teams from across North Wales and Chester.

A huge thank you to Blacon for hosting such a well-organised event. We always love coming here because the coaches and volunteers set the standard for what children's football should be all about – creating a fun, positive and supportive environment where every child can enjoy the game. It's something we strive to replicate at Prestatyn Sports.

Both of our teams played out of their skin today and represented the club brilliantly. Every single one of our 10 players should be incredibly proud of the effort, determination and teamwork they showed throughout the tournament.

Well done, lads! Enjoy the rest of your weekend, and we'll see you all back at training on Thursday.

A bright and early start for Prestatyn Sports this morning as we travelled to St Asaph for another fantastic morning of football.

With nine players available and St Asaph a little short on numbers, our players took it in turns to pull on the blue bibs and play for both teams so that everyone could enjoy a full 4v4 game. It was brilliant to see the sportsmanship, teamwork and respect shown by all of the children.

It's always a pleasure playing against St Asaph. They have a really talented group of young players, and as always the coaches, parents and everyone involved made us feel incredibly welcome.

🎉 Something a little different for Prestatyn Sports today as we took part in the Prestatyn Carnival! 🎉

With less than 24 hours to pull everything together, our Queen of the High Street, Hayley "Hideaway" Roberts-Sinnott, absolutely exceeded everyone's expectations with what she managed to create.

The car looked incredible, the kids had an amazing time, and to top it all off, we even had a real Dalmatian joining us for the parade! 🐶

A huge thank you to Hayley-Jane Roberts-Sinnott for all the hard work and effort she put in to make today such a success. It was fantastic to see the smiles on the children's faces and for Prestatyn Sports to be part of such a brilliant community event.
