⚽️ Prestatyn Sports Match Report ⚽️

Prestatyn Sports welcomed our friends from Athletic along with a new opponent from Llandudno this morning for a fantastic round robin of football.

With Sports fielding three teams, Athletic bringing two teams and Llandudno entering one team, there was plenty of football for everyone throughout the morning. Despite the scorching temperatures, every player gave 110% effort from start to finish, showing great determination, teamwork and sportsmanship.
It was brilliant to see so many smiles, goals, tackles and moments of skill on display. Most importantly, everyone had fun and enjoyed a fantastic morning of football in the sunshine.
A huge thank you to Athletic and Llandudno for joining us, and well done to all the players who represented Prestatyn Sports so brilliantly. 💙⚽☀️

⚽️ Match Report ⚽️

Prestatyn Sports travelled to our neighbours, Prestatyn Athletic, yesterday for a fantastic morning of football in the sunshine.

With both clubs fielding two teams each, we played a round-robin format which gave all of the players plenty of game time and opportunities to showcase their developing skills.

It was a really enjoyable morning had by all, with lots of goals, smiles, excellent dribbling, determined tackling, and plenty of great teamwork on display throughout. Most importantly, the players had fun, continued to learn, and showed great enthusiasm from start to finish.

A big thank you to everyone at Prestatyn Athletic for hosting and providing such a welcoming environment. We look forward to meeting again soon!

⚽🐉 BIG SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENT 🐉⚽

As we prepare for next season, we're excited to reveal the next chapter for Prestatyn Sports Under 5s!

With our squad growing and the move to 4-a-side football meaning smaller team sizes, we've made the decision to split into two teams to maximise playing time, development, and enjoyment for every player.

🔴 Prestatyn Sports Dragons - Artie, Louis, Alfie, Sam, William and Bobi

🔴 Prestatyn Sports United - Harrison, Frankie M, Frankie S, Osian Hudson and Raphaël

This change will only affect match days. We will continue to train together as one squad, one family, just as we always have done.

We are incredibly proud of how far all the boys have come this season and can't wait to see them continue to develop, make friends, and create more fantastic memories together.

No matter which team they play for, they will always be part of the Prestatyn Sports family.

⚽️ Prestatyn Sports Under 5s ⚽️
Prestatyn Sports Under 5s welcomed a vastly improved Rhyl Rockets side to The Meadows this evening.

With 12 players in the squad and the move to 4-a-side football next year, the management team made the decision to split the boys into two teams. We’ll still train together on Thursdays, but from September we’ll have separate fixtures.

The teams will now be known as:
Prestatyn Sports United
and
Prestatyn Sports Dragons

Tonight was the first time the boys were split into their new teams, and every single player performed brilliantly. There were lots of goals, some brilliant dribbling, and plenty of celebrations on show.

A big well done to everyone involved!

🏆⚽ Great Evening at Prestatyn Sports Under 5s Presentation Evening ⚽🏆

What a fantastic evening celebrating an incredible season for our Under 5s. It was brilliant to see all the players, parents, families and coaches come together to recognise the hard work, development and enjoyment the children have shown throughout the year.

Every single player should be proud of what they have achieved. From their first touches of a football to playing matches, scoring goals, making tackles and, most importantly, having fun, they have all come so far.

A huge thank you to all the parents for their support throughout the season and to our sponsors for helping make the season possible. Special thanks also to our coaching team who give up their time each week to help the children learn and develop.

Most importantly, well done to all of our players – you are all champions and the future of Prestatyn Sports is looking very bright! 🌟⚽🏆

Prestatyn Sports Under 5s re-ran last weekend’s tournament tonight, this time in much tougher conditions with the wind and rain making it a real battle.

The teams stayed the same as last week, and the defending champions looked like they had it wrapped up again after topping the group unbeaten and reaching the final. But they were undone by the sheer determination of Team Frankie!

Massive credit to both Frankie and Coach Frankie, who were really up against it as a team of 2 taking on teams of 3.

Well done to everyone — a great evening in poor conditions.

⚽☀️ Prestatyn Sports Interclub Tournament 2026 ☀️⚽

A fantastic morning in the sunshine at The Meadows for our Prestatyn Sports Interclub Tournament!

There were plenty of goals, smiles, celebrations, and tackles flying in left, right, and centre as the four teams battled it out in a highly competitive tournament. Every player gave their all and showed great determination, teamwork, and sportsmanship throughout the morning.

After a series of closely fought matches, it was the Reds who came out on top, beating the Greens in a fiercely contested final to lift the trophy. 🏆🔴

A huge well done to all four teams and thank you to the parents, and supporters who made it such an enjoyable event. Most importantly, the children had a brilliant time and created some fantastic memories.

Football, friends, sunshine, and smiles! What more could you ask for?

The players of the tournament could of gone to anyone of the boys as they were all fantastic but the 2 who stood out was Osian Griffiths for all his hard work and huge tackles and the Reds goal machine Harrison Blackmore 👏

Prestatyn Sports had some fun last night at training and swapped football for our very own Sports Day! 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

The races included: 🏃 50m Sprint ⚽ Ball Run 🍦 Ice Cream Race ⬅️ Backwards Running 🐻 Bear Crawls 💪 Tug of War

There were plenty of laughs, lots of competition, and some fantastic effort from all the players. The session finished with every child receiving a medal because at Prestatyn Sports, we're all champions! 🏆🥇

Unfortunately, there aren't many photos or videos from the evening as the coaches and parents got just as involved as the kids and were having too much fun themselves! 😂

Well done everyone! Another brilliant evening with a great group of children and families. ❤️⚽

Prestatyn Sports travelled to a brilliantly organised tournament hosted by our
good friends at St Asaph today. ⚽☀️

There were loads of goals, plenty of smiles, and some fantastic football from both Prestatyn Sports teams throughout the day.
Prestatyn Sports 1 reached the semi-finals but were convincingly beaten by a very strong Blacon side, who went on to win the Champions League. Prestatyn Sports 2 also made the semi-finals, losing to Mynydd Isa, who went on to win the Europa League.

Losing in semi-finals in a strong tournament is something to be proud of. More importantly, the players had a brilliant day, played with smiles on their faces, and represented the Sports brilliantly.
