🔵⚪️ Presentation Evening 🔵⚪️

What an incredible way to wrap up the season! This year has seen yet another massive leap in improvement from this group. Year on year, they continue to impress us with their drive and determination, and this season was no different. We’ve seen the lads truly start to compete with the top teams, securing some fantastic victories along the way, having only being beaten by three teams all season. They increased their goal tally by a huge margin ⚽️, and conceded far fewer goals ⛔️. A testament to the hard work put in by every single one of them!💪

🏆Awards🏆

📈 Most Improved - Louie Parry

Louie joined us at the start of the season and settled straight into the team. He has had a year of change adapting to new positions and he has taken it in his stride. Notably into trying a new role in defence which has seen him stay calm on the ball and help start our attacks with his passing range. This new role has played a big part in our success this season 💪

💪 Most Committed - Alfie Jones

Alfie continues to show his determination and commitment to the team week in week out. Giving 110% whenever he steps out on the pitch he works hard to help the team succeed in all he does. Both in effort covering every blade of grass, but also in creativity, finishing as joint top assists for the season 🎯 Making a great contribution to this season success 💪

🗳️ Parents Player - Oliver Latham

Ollie was voted this year’s Parents Player and it’s easy to see why. Ollie’s performances in goal this season have been fantastic. Often at the sacrifice of playing outfield Ollie always steps up for the team when they need him. No more so than in tournament season where more penalty heroics have played a big part in our 2 🏆 Champions League wins this summer 💪

👔 Managers Player - Carter Roberts

This seasons Managers Player goes to Carter Roberts for his consistent high level performances all season. This high level has played a big part in this seasons success. Not only finishing top goalscorer ⚽️ and joint top assists 🎯 but his work rate off the ball is equally impressive and contributes so much to the team 💪

📍 Colwyn Bay Tournament

A fantastic tournament at Colwyn Bay this weekend, facing high-quality opposition with two trophies up for grabs.

We absolutely flew out of the blocks yet again! Our first three games saw us play some of the best football we’ve seen all season with some brilliant passing and clinical finishing against some very strong teams.

As we hit the tougher stages of the group, standards became harder to maintain, resulting in two losses and a draw in our next three. We were already guaranteed a spot in the Champions League knockouts, but to finish as high as possible in the group table, we challenged the boys to produce a big goal difference swing—and wow, did they deliver, recording the biggest win of the day! 📈

Through to the Champions League Quarter-Final. Unfortunately, we started a little too slowly and gave ourselves a mountain to climb, going two goals down early on. Once the boys switched on, we were on top for the remainder of the match and pulled one back, but we just ran out of time, as is the way in tournament football. ⏱️

The boys left feeling like they could have gone further, but we go again! 💪

They showed real quality in flashes today, and if we can find that consistency, we know we will be right up there competing for it all. 🏆

Europa League Semi-Final

📍 Llandudno Junction

A tough test for the boys today as we travelled to Llandudno Junction to face some high-quality teams.

Where we tend to start a little slowly in tournaments, today was the complete opposite. The lads came flying out of the blocks in the opening game against a top side, playing some brilliant football to go 2-0 up, and were ultimately very unlucky to finish with a 2-2 draw. We carried that momentum into the next two matches with two more strong performances, picking up a hard-fought 1-1 draw and a well-deserved 2-1 win.

As the group stages wrapped up, we saw a drop-off in our performance levels. We drew 0-0 and were rather fortunate to get a 1-0 win to finish the group stage. The early hard work ensured we finished 3rd in the group and progressed into the Europa League Semi-Final.

Unfortunately, we couldn't quite rediscover those early performances. In a game the boys should have won in normal time, it ended in a draw and went to another penalty shootout.

It wasn’t meant to be, ending in a narrow 10-9 defeat.

While it wasn't our day to lift the trophy this time after our recent tournament wins, there are massive positives to take away. It is now 19 tournament games in a row unbeaten in normal time! An unbelievable achievement that shows just how tough this team is to beat.

🎉🎉🏆Tournament Winners🏆🎉🎉

Another fantastic weekend for the boys as we travelled to Nantlle Vale for our second tournament of the summer!

The lads started much faster this time around, putting in one of our strongest group stage performances to date. With three wins and a draw without conceding a goal. Topping their group to progress into the Champions League knockouts

As we’ve seen before, this team really knows how to switch it on when the knockout stages arrive. Facing tough opposition, the boys battled incredibly hard to stay in a tense game that ended 0-0. Penalties are always a challenge, especially with the smaller goals, but the lads showed great composure in sudden death to take their chance and progress to the final. 🎯🔥

The final was a physical encounter against a very tough side, but our boys weren't fazed by the rough tackles and continued to battle throughout. After another tight 0-0 draw, it went back to the penalty spot. Once again, the lads held their nerve brilliantly, scoring four out of their five penalties to secure our second tournament victory in a row! 💪🏆

A performance full of heart and resilience that they should be very proud of. To go back-to-back is a massive achievement and shows exactly what this group is capable of. Well done, boys! 👏

🎉🎉🏆Tournament Winners🏆🎉🎉

A fantastic start to the summer for the boys today as we travelled to Amlwch for our first tournament of the season!

As we’ve seen before, we started a little slowly with a disappointing first game, but the lads did exactly what they always do, they grew into the tournament and showed incredible character. After finding their rhythm in the second game they went on to finish with one loss, two draws and two wins, finishing second in the group and progressed into the Champions Semi-Final.

The Semi-Final was easily our best performance of the day. We came out strong from the first whistle and didn’t let the opposition settle for a second. Great pressure and a massive amount of hard work from the lads saw us secure a 1-0 win to head into the Final!

The Final was a real battle with nothing between the two teams. It was a hard-fought game where our boys showed great concentration and a real fight, ending 0-0 after extra time.

Penalties are always a nervy way to finish, but the lads held their nerve brilliantly to get the win with a 2-1 shootout victory!

A tough final game of the season for the boys yesterday. While we weren’t quite at our best, there were definitely moments throughout the match that showed what we are capable of when we click. 🤝

The boys have set themselves a really high standard this season but they weren’t quite able to reach that today, they continued to battle until the very end as they always do with great spirit.

This game marks the end of what has been a fantastic season for the boys. They have truly gone from strength to strength this year, proving they are a real force to be reckoned with. It has been a pleasure to watch their progress, and they will only continue to get better as they stick together and work even harder next season. 💪

A season full of heart that they should all be very proud of.

A great result from the boys today and an overall a strong performance.

Although there was some very well-taken goals throughout, as we look to push on to the next level, the challenge now is to really dial in on that team play. We’ve seen what they can do in moments, so now we want to see them connecting even more, looking for that extra pass and working together to create those “team" goals that we know they are capable of. ⚽️🎯

The work rate and commitment were fantastic from start to finish. A good performance, but we push to make the next steps.
