I hope you are all safe and well.

I have been asked a few times now when I am taking booking again. The simple answer is I’m not sure with the current situation. I know I had to cut back on the amount of bookings before lockdown due to finishing my dissertation and thanks again for those who volunteered to take part in my study. What I do know is I miss treating you all just as much as you’re missing treatment. As soon as this is all over and it’s safe for both me and my clients I will be taking bookings again.

In the meantime if there are any questions or issues you are having with recovery, any aches and pains or even need any advice feel free to drop me a message.

I have also been playing with the idea of doing some videos of stretches for you to do at home either posting them online or via video chat. If anyone is interested feel free to message me.

In the meantime keep safe and keep well!

Sports massage isn’t just for sports injuries. This client is a drummer and is suffering with lower and upper back pain as well as pain in his shoulders which radiates into his biceps. With some general massage techniques as well as trigger points, reciprocal inhibition techniques and soft tissue techniques I was able to loosen off some of that tension. I also used the Rockpods which helped release some of the fascia which was causing the client trouble. Pain doesn’t go away in a day, it’s important to work on posture as well as stretching out all major muscle groups on a daily basis.

I have availability for this week. I’m back after my operation and can’t wait to get back to doing what I love which is helping my clients. Thank you all for being patient with me while I recovered and welcome to all my new likes and future clients.

Afternoon guys. Just want to apologise for being really quiet. I’ve had a hectic past few months finishing my uni degree and finishing college but It’s all been for all my lovely clients benefits. I now specialise in sports injuries. I’ve been learning new techniques, special tests, and pin pointing which exact muscle is causing you pain and the best form of treatment.
I want to thank my regular clients for being patient with me and working around my busy schedule the last few months.
I am back to normal and taking bookings for the next two weeks. I’ve had quite a few enquires and bookings the past few days and I’m excited to getting back stuck in there.
I’d also just like to mention that I’m going in for surgery on the 13th and will be out of action for around 6-8 weeks. I do apologise and if anyone is looking for treatment while I’m recovering I’ll be happy to give you details of some therapist friends who will be happy to help.

But for now it’s business as usual and I just want to thank you all ✌🏼

The other week at the therapy expo I attended I picked up these. They are rock pods they are a form of myofascial cupping. They are designed to promote a rich blood supply to increase circulation. The benefits of these cups are

1. Increase circulation to the affected muscle or fascia
2. Increase the joint range of motion
3. Reduce muscle tension
4. Increases connective tissue mobility
5. Increases lymphatic drainage

I would not try any techniques on my clients without trying it on myself first. I’ve had problems with my suprasprinatus muscle which is a muscle in the shoulder, this has caused me loss of range of motion and pain so I thought it would be the perfect time to try out my rock pods. As you can see from the third picture you can see a bruise. This is where the nutrient rich blood has gotten into the fascia. I literally had the rock pods on for only a couple of minutes on Saturday and since then I’ve achieved more range of motion in my shoulder and less pain. This along with massage will help get my shoulder back to full range of motion. I am going to be start using these on my clients. They don’t hurt either which is also a bonus. Message me to book in and arrange a consultation.

Finally got my certificates from last year. It’s just the beginning of a collection.
