Honestly, one of the biggest mistakes I see when people start the gym or a new diet is doing way too much too soon.

They drop their calories too low, add loads of extra cardio, hit every class they can… and end up burnt out, fed up, and wondering why they’re not seeing results.

The truth is — you don’t need to do more. You just need to work smarter.

The best results I get with my clients come from keeping things simple and sustainable:

Train with weights 1–3 times a week 💪

Eat high-protein meals and stay in a small calorie
deficit 🍽️

Be more active day to day 🚶‍♂️

That’s it. No magic tricks. Just consistent habits you can actually stick to long term.

I could sell a “4 week fast fat loss ” and I could sell loads, but I genuine want to help people do it correctly.

Simple things I do with all clients 👇🏻

Prioritise getting stronger (progressive overload the weights)

Don’t undereat — focus on a high-protein diet
Make simple lifestyle changes

Be consistent — lasting results take time

Most humbling. Addictive and enjoyable sport.

Content with the time but want more.

Through doing 4 hyrox now, I have learned a few things which might help you.

1) your kidding yourself, what ever time you think your Gonner get add 5-10 minutes on.

2) it is all about pacing/ strategy / data. Knowing your numbers, how long you can do each station in and implementing that strategy on race day and being consistent with it.

3) Train intense. Cute zone 2 work is good, but it’s not Gonner replicate suffering you have to do on race day.

4) higher a good coach. I personally don’t sell any Hyrox programs and have no plan too. If you would like one I would recommend some to you.

Jake has been doing one personal training session a week, in addition to following the workout routine I write for him. Prior to starting, Jake had no weight training experience. Now, it’s - part of his daily routine.

I highly recommend weight training to everyone, regardless of gender, age, or fitness level. There are so many benefits, not only for your physical health but also for your mental well-being. Plus, the added bonus of looking and feeling better is bonus.

As you can see from the before my client didn’t have much to lose, but she wanted to tone up and feel more confident in herself.

Starting calories was 2200 by the end of her diet we went down to 1600. Training wise was 80% weights with 20 % cardio through circuit training.

My client is a pain in the arse and Always makes me clean up at home, always try’s to get me to go on walks and spend to much money on the joint account.
