Great day yesterday at our monthly American social tournament, BBQ, afternoon tea and refreshments. Very civilised and great fun.

We have just finished our 2026 Fylde Tennis League campaign, our teams including juniors have competed in 67 matches played from May until August. Congratulations to all who have represented St Chads.

Every kid starts with a dream, not everyone gets to live it 💙

As a young boy, Jamie Murray picked up tennis balls from the back of the courts at Dunblane Tennis Club while his Mum ran coaching sessions in the early 1990s. It was impossible to envisage the story he would go on to write in the sport.

Reaching the top of the tennis rankings, winning Grand Slam titles and achieving Davis Cup glory with Great Britain would have been a dream for a young Jamie, but he did all that and so much more over the course of a career that has been laced with glory.
