Yesterday the boys competed in the BJFF May Madness Tournament and came away as Cup Champions. The boys performed consistently throughout and only conceded one goal all morning. A first bit of silverware with us for newer faces and hopefully a sign of things to come. Our Player of the Tournament went to JP4 for a solid defensive display with great composure on the ball and a few cameos further up the pitch 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

The boys were back at the annual St Anne’s tournament yesterday for a full day of football. After not conceding a goal until the final, unfortunately the boys narrowly lost to earn a runners up medal. Well done to all the boys but a special mention to FG for his brilliant performances throughout the day and being named player of the tournament ⚽️

A Bitter sweet summer at the Panthers. Unfortunately we are losing 3 fantastic players (even better lads) due to academy commitments.

All the hard work that coaching takes is fully justified when you receive pictures like this one though.

We've coached Jacob since he was 5, he started with Blackpool pre academy at under 7s and has been with them ever since. He took one year away from grassroots because of the busy academy schedule but soon found his way back because he missed playing with the lads he'd grown up with.

An absolute man mountain of a player. His strength and use of his body is unrivalled at the age and although he plays as a defender for Blackpool he's been a key attacking threat in a very talented Poulton team.

It's with great pleasure that we can announce that Jacob has just received the Coaches player of the season award for Blackpool FC u11s academy.

We are all incredibly proud of you and your journey Jacob and wish you every bit of success for the future. You'll be missed but we know you'll stay in touch and continue supporting your friends. 🧡🖤🧡🖤🧡

The boys were back in the sunshine today for their last game of the season. A fantastic reaction from the boys after a disappointing result last weekend. A great performance against a great opponent. Well done to FN and JR on parents player and coaches player of the match. 🧡⚽️

The boys were back at it this weekend with another league fixture. The opposition were a top side which gave the boys a real challenge. The boys were up for the challenge and put in another fantastic performance. A great debut performance from FG who picked up parents player of the match and JR for another top performance giving him coaches player of the match. Well done boys 🧡

The boys were back in cup action this morning against a top side in Thornton Lions. A tough fought battle saw the boys progress to the semi finals. Fantastic performances by all the lads but a couple of extra special performances saw JP and JR pick up parents player of the match and coaches player of the match. Well done boys 🧡

This morning saw the start of our Cup campaign after a bye in the first round last week. Today's opponents the same as the previous week in Clifton Rangers Vespas. A team that work hard, play the right way and try to make it difficult for us every time we meet. Today's match was played on the old school grass and after some rain during the week was a little bit heavy but both teams adjusted well after being spoiled with 3g facilities for most of the season. The Panthers were a little slow to begin with but grew into the game and started to play some really good football and our goals were of real quality.

Parents POTM went to Paddy. He showed great movement off the ball, great skill and decision making with it and was a constant threat. Very unlucky to not score what would have been goal of the Game with an audacious chip from a tight angle that hit the far post and bounced out.

Coaches POTM went to Harrie who continued his fine form in his new position as an attacking wing back. Offering great overlapping runs to support the team in attack and for some important defensive work with one last ditch tackle needing to be perfect so not to concede or give away a penalty.

The boys were back at it yesterday morning at a very wet Unity pitch. A fantastic game of football played against another great team. The boys had to be on top form and these two legends were outstanding.

The boys were up against another top side yesterday morning. With both sides playing some fantastic football the game was a real spectacle for the crowd. Well done to these two superstars for the coaches and parents player of the match awards 🧡

No game last week and the FCS pitch underwater this week, after a lot of rain, meant we had to ask some favours to get a game on yesterday. Big thank you to Will Slater and his Jaguars team for altering their kick off time to allow 2 other teams at the age to get a game on.

Thanks to FCS Xavis for providing us once again with a huge test. These really are the type of games all the boys should love to be involved in with the level of football for their age at such a high standard. Both teams played some incredible football throughout and both teams had periods of forcing each other back when applying some pressure. As always so many great individual battles all over the pitch from 2 very competitive groups of boys.

Our Parents POTM went to our No8 Harrie for a really solid display at RWB winning many of his battles and helping start attacks down his side.

Coaches POTM went to our No5 Jack for an incredible performance at both ends of the pitch, he defended superbly, often winning the ball back and driving forward with it to get us up the pitch and managed to get himself on the score sheet with his great aerial presence on set pieces.

Well done to all the boys on another Superb performance 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
