Three boats are through the Scoring Gate!

A message from our Race Director: “A huge congratulations to Team GOSH and then Power of Seattle Sports for being the first two boats through, scooping the bonus 3 and 2 points respectively. It was interesting to note that although the Scoring Gate was set well below the rhumb line, the first two boats through the gate were the most northern of the fleet at the time. GOSH barely drifted over in the high pressure between systems with POSS sailing over shortly after on the positive south-westerlies heralding the next system.

“The rest of the fleet passed to the south of the gate with a bonus point left to grab for the well deserving Yacht Club Punta del Esta after their gargantuan effort to get Jo safely off the boat. Well done teams for the well earned points.”
