You can have a good week of eating and training, then let one weigh in convince you none of it worked.

So you cut your food again. Add another session. Change a plan you haven’t given enough time to work.

That constant reaction makes it harder to know what’s actually working.

The value of coaching is having someone who can look at the whole picture with you. Someone who knows when to adjust things, when you need more recovery and when you simply need to stay consistent.

That’s what our transformation programme is built around. Training, nutrition and support that help you build a body you feel good in, with a clear understanding of how to get there.

You shouldn’t have to second guess every meal, workout or weigh in.

DM us TRANSFORM and let’s talk about your goals.

Happy birthday to my partner in crime 🧡

I genuinely don’t know how you manage to do everything you do. You hold our household together, work a full time job, put up with me and everything that comes with GFC and somehow still give so much of yourself to everyone around you.

You’re kind, ridiculously hardworking, selfless, loyal and the person we rely on. But the thing I admire most is the example you set for our son every single day!

Life is busy, chaotic and rarely straightforward, but there’s nobody else I’d rather be doing all of this with.

We’re both incredibly lucky to have you.

Happy Birthday 🧡🎉

Here’s a cleaner version that keeps your point but sounds more natural:

“It’s OK, I’ll burn it off tomorrow…”

Is one of the biggest lies you can tell yourself.

But more importantly, stop using exercise as a way to earn food or punish yourself for eating it.

Training and nutrition absolutely live in the same ecosystem, but one shouldn’t be a reward or punishment for the other.

You’ll never out train a consistently poor diet, but equally, there’s no such thing as a single “bad” food.

You don’t need to earn the meal you want.

You don’t need to punish yourself for enjoying it.

And you definitely don’t need to add an hour of cardio tomorrow because you ate more than planned today.

If you’re struggling to find a healthier balance with food, training and your goals, and you want some help making a change, drop us a DM.

I have these conversations every week.

People want to be great at everything by tomorrow, and they think cramming it all into their programme will get them there quicker.

They want to get stronger, but worry about losing their engine. They want high skill gymnastics, but won’t make room for the practice because they don’t want to take out a conditioning piece.

I get it. When you care about improving, giving something less attention can feel like going backwards.

But you’re spreading yourself so thin that nothing gets the depth it needs. A bit of everything works at the start. Eventually, it can leave you working hard for years without getting much further.

Take a step back. Decide what matters most in this block of training. Give each session a clear priority and put your best energy into progressing it. Let the other work support that, with enough room to recover and come back better.

Build the strength. Spend time learning the skill. Give it long enough to stick, then shift the focus.

Top athletes use training blocks for a reason. They aren’t trying to be Games ready six months out.

Why are you expecting yourself to be competition ready every week?

There’s just 3kg between these two photos of Steph.

For so many people, changing their body becomes about reaching a certain number on the scales.

60kg. 55kg. 50kg.

We convince ourselves that when we finally see that number, we’ll be happy with what we see in the mirror.

Steph’s progress is a brilliant example of why the number often matters far less than we think.

Just 3kg lighter. A completely different body.

And she’s eating more than she ever did when she was trying to lose weight.

That’s the difference the right approach can make.

What if you didn’t actually need to be much lighter to look the way you want?

This is something we help so many of our clients understand.

Because when the scales have always been your measure of success, eating more can feel scary and seeing your weight stay the same can feel like you’re getting nowhere.

But there’s so much more we can change than your weight.

More muscle. Less body fat. More energy. Better performance. More confidence.

Sometimes the body you’ve been trying to diet your way down to is actually a body we need to fuel and build.

And this is why we love Steph’s final point so much.

She now feels like she has the tools to keep this going for life.

That’s what we want our coaching to give you.

We’ll help you understand how much to eat, how to train, what to adjust when progress slows and how to make all of it work around your actual life.

You’ll have our support and accountability throughout, but you’ll also understand the process rather than simply being told what to do.

Because the goal isn’t just getting you into great shape.

It’s helping you build a body you love, while still having a life you love too.

Kids will follow the example you set far more than the advice you give them.

At a time when screens take up more and more of their attention, showing them what life can look like away from one matters.

Is it easier to leave the kids at home while you travel halfway across the country to compete in a two day fitness event on a beach?

Of course it is.

Taking them adds more planning, more bags, more food, more cost and probably a lot more stress to an already busy weekend.

But look at what they get to see.

They see their parents working for something.

They see them challenging themselves.

They see hundreds of people choosing to move, compete, struggle, laugh and spend a weekend doing something active.

They see that fitness isn’t a punishment or something you have to do.

It’s part of life.

And maybe one day, when they’re old enough to make their own choices, looking after themselves, staying active and challenging what they’re capable of will feel completely normal.

Not because you constantly told them it was important.

Because you showed them.
