It is with real sadness that we have made the difficult decision to stop ParkPlay permanently.

Since launching in September 2025, it has been a joy to see so many of you come along, get involved, and help build such a positive and welcoming community. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has taken part and supported us.

ParkPlay is only possible with the help of volunteers, and without a group stepping forward to take this on, we are unable to continue. 🌟If you are interested in volunteering, please let us know 🌟

Thank you again to everyone who has been part of the journey. We have truly loved getting to know you all.

Hi Everyone 👋Sorry for the short notice but due to leader availability, ParkPlay will be cancelled tomorrow.

Also unfortunately, we still need a team of volunteers to help out, so if no one comes forward, ParkPlay will finish going forward.

This weekend, Portishead ParkPlay reaches an important moment. At the moment, this could be the last Portishead ParkPlay, as we don’t currently have a team in place to keep it going.

That’s why this weekend really matters.

We would love for you to come down and be part of it. To play, to connect, and to celebrate everything that Portishead ParkPlay has been for the community 🧡💚

But this doesn’t have to be the end. ParkPlay only happens because people step forward. If a few people are willing to help, even in a small way, we can keep this going for everyone who enjoys being part of it.

Could that be you?

You don’t need any experience. Just a willingness to help create a welcoming space for others. Even an hour or two can make a real difference.

There’s still time to sign up for our leader/helper information sessions happening this Monday and Tuesday.

⚠️ URGENT – HELP KEEP PORTISHEAD PARKPLAY GOING! ❗⚠️
We need your help 💚

One of our amazing Play Leaders at Portishead ParkPlay has made the difficult decision to step down. Sadly, this means ParkPlay will have to stop at the end of April unless new Play Leaders or volunteers step forward.

The good news? 🙌
We don’t need superheroes — just a little help setting up games and supporting sessions. There’s no need to commit every week, and you won’t be doing it alone.

Come along to a relaxed, no-pressure information session to find out what ParkPlay is all about and how you could get involved. It’s simply a chance to ask questions, meet the team, and see if it’s right for you.
