No need for a thicker skin, less sensitivity, or more assertiveness. Your WHY, motivation, transparency, and messaging are what makes clients want to work with and buy from you. It's about building relationships through shedding vour idea of what a person running and owning a business should look like, and replacing it with your authentic self. It empowers you and others, feels great, and has the potential to change the world.
That is my WHY for doing what I do. I'm not pretending to be someone I'm not (I do not live in a Barbie the Movie, Barbie). In this photo, one collar is up and the other is down. To some, my hair is "messy." To others, my curls are on-point.
Not many people look like me that live in my area (shout-out to my habibiti, Dana Personal Training who understands this too). My clients come to me not because of how I look, but, because I build relationships, deliver results, and offer support throughout their entire work and personal journey. I always check-in and make sure all is okay on a regular basis. We, as people and business owners are not one- dimensional (our home life impacts our work).
I also understand not every platform, and not every tactic works for you. Thus, I customise it based on your WHY, goals, target market, messaging, motivation, budget, and time. Without your marketing specialist understanding ALL of this, you are wasting too much effort and money.
