Let's take a look at my client Ferhat's progress and how he achieved it in just 3 months...
Firstly, let's just take a second to appreciate the transformation he made. It's safe to say, he's looking awesome
Here are the 3 main things he focussed on:
1️⃣ First, we took a look at his diet. Although his diet wasn't that bad, his fat intake was a little high. Fat is calorie dense at 9 calories per gram. In contrast protein and carbs are both only 4 calories per gram.
We set him a calorie budget 400 calories less than what he was burning each day (calorie deficit). We reigned in his fat consumption to roughly 25% of the total intake and put more emphasis on getting more protein onboard
This gave him the freedom to still have plenty of variety with his diet, ensuring it would be easier to stick to for the long term
2️⃣ Secondly, his training. Using my exclusive coaching app, we built a plan consisting of 4 sessions a week. We made sure that each muscle group was targeted at least twice a week. Training isn't essential for fat loss but is essential if you want healthy looking and strong muscle tissue coming through or that 'athletic' look.
He also took up playing a bit of football most Sunday's with his work colleagues. Finding a leisurely hobby has numerous benefits that contribute to your journey; extra calories burned, it's sociable, great stress release, mental clarity, the list goes on. Doing something enjoyable promotes longevity and you'll be much more inclined to stay on course
3️⃣ Consistency and discipline. The toughest part. In order to become successful in anything, we will need to show up each day regardless of how we feel. Ferhat got himself into a great routine that had balance between work, family time and health.
Having a routine makes things so much easier and gradually becomes part of your identity. If you become someone who exercises first thing in the morning, eventually it will become natural as part of you routine.
Imagine this... At some point in your life, someone had to remind you every morning to brush your teeth. Then eventually it became automated to a point that you probably don't even have to think about doing it anymore. It just get's done. The same can be applied to any habit, even exercising!
Discipline separates those who will succeed and those who won't! We won't always feel like turning up, but the people who will succeed are the ones that turn up regardless.
Ferhat isn't a superhuman. He hasn't got 'gifted' genetics. He's just a regular guy like you and me
I'm looking for just 3 more guys who want to achieve the same incredible results by the end of the year.
