Today three of our goalkeepers travelled to Cardiff to take part in an amazing workshop held by GK316 Academy 🥅🧤

What a fantastic event, was very well ran and organised. The training was top quality, fantastic drills, techniques and angle work. Highly recommend for any goalkeepers out there that would like to do some specific goalie training.

Well done to Anna Walker, Claire Parkhouse, Laura Kiff and everyone else that took part 👏 🧤🥅

⚽ TWO O60s TEAMS WANTED! ⚽

We have just two remaining places in the Over-60s category of the new Cwmbrân Celtic Walking Football Grand Slam Series.

📅 Six monthly rounds from September 2026 to March 2027
🎄 No round in December
🗓️ Played on the last Sunday afternoon of each month
📍 Cwmbrân
⚽ English FA Walking Football rules
4️⃣ Four-touch format
⏱️ 20-minute matches
👥 Maximum squad size of 10
💷 £60 per team, per round

Teams must be able to commit to all six rounds.

It promises to be a friendly but competitive series, with points accumulated across all six rounds to decide the overall Grand Slam champions.

Places are limited to eight teams—and we now need just two more O60s teams to complete the line-up.

INTRODUCING THE CWMBRÂN CELTIC MEN’S WALKING FOOTBALL GRAND SLAM SERIES! ⚽

We’re delighted to launch an exciting new monthly competition for men’s Over-50s and Over-60s walking football teams.

The series will:

📅 Begin in September 2026 and finish in March 2027
🗓️ Take place on the last Sunday afternoon of each month
🎄 Have no event in December
📍 Be played in Cwmbrân
👥 Be limited to a maximum of eight teams in each age category
💷 Cost £60 per team, per round
📖 Be played to English FA walking football rules

Expect great facilities, excellent organisation, friendly competition and plenty of football!

Whether you’re an established club or putting together a new team, we’d love to welcome you—but places are limited, so please register your interest early.
