We would like to Congratulate our Senior Sebastopol AFC team on winning the Gwent Central Open Cup yesterday afternoon. A remarkable achievement in their first season of being reestablished. Lewis Parr and Shane John Morgan have done an amazing job, which now creates a foundation for our Junior set up to grow into that Ben Cox will be able to work alongside. The future of Sebast is exciting! 💙💛

The Spud Box Man of the Match was Albert 💙💛

Albert was outstanding covering every inch of the pitch. As a box to box midfielder, he gave everything. His work rate was electric, he battled everything and played with his heart on his sleeve.

As a Team, unfortunately we fell slightly short to a very good and respectable Panteg Afc team. In a game that was pulsating, end to end and could have gone either way, after pulling ourselves back level, it was Panteg who went on to claim the winner 3 minutes before the end.

We would like to also pass on our congratulations to Panteg on securing the League B title, worthy winners and enjoy your celebrations 🤍🖤

A third league game in 7 days awaits us this Thursday evening!

We are being hosted by Panteg Afc who are in fantastic form who will surely be a difficult opposition. Despite gaining the result in our fixture earlier in the season, we are sure that this time round will be a much harder task that lays ahead. Both teams will bring some brilliant grassroots entertainment off the back of both being undefeated in League B.

The Spud Box Man of the Match: Jack

This man of the Match has accumulated over a series of fantastic defensive performances. Besides carrying a knock, Jacks strength, power and determination was a focal point in yesterday's game.

We capped off a Fifth League Win in a row against a passionate and physical Llanyravon team. Llany made it very difficult for us and have been a tough team to beat this season, credit has to go to their progression as a team.

Our Next Match comes quickly, less than 48 hours since our last league game. We take the short trip to Llanyravon in which we know will be a challenging fixture. We face a passionate and determined opposition, who we know that if we're not at our best will punish us.

The boys are ready, and off the back of 4 straight wins, will go into the game with confidence 🔵🟡

The Spud Box Man of the Match this evening went to Evan

Evan was superb! Commanding, assertive and strong.. he faced a tough challenge but one he mastered comfortably!

The boys secured a fourth league victory on the bounce but were made to dig deep against a determined New Inn team. 🔵🟡

Our next league fixture awaits ⏳

This Thursday evening we welcome New Inn to Alexandra Road. The difficulty in the opponent raises once again and we have to respect the challenge of the fixture.

Hoping we can field a full strength squad, we can be confident in being at full value against an organised opposition and build on our recent rise 💙💛

Last night we welcomed last year's league winners Cwmbran Town Under 15s -25/26 to Alexandra Road.

With league fixtures on pause, we undertook the option of a challenging friendly in which both teams could use the depth of their squads to provide valuable game time to all.

Thank you to Cwmbran and we pass on our best of luck for the remainder of your season ⚽
