Final bash of the season as our senior teams gathered together to celebrate their achievements at our 2025/26 awards dinner.
Big thanks to birthday girl and caterer extraordinaire Clare Friend and the bar team.
The winners were:
2nd XV
“Getting to the semifinals of the play offs was a great achievement which saw a real strong performance by the lads, showing the future coming through is good to see,” said Captain Will Norris

Pocklington RUFC Women’s XV are champions!

A Pocklington team is celebrating a meteoric success story after claiming its first league title.
Pocklington RUFC Women’s XV finished this season as the winners of NC3 North (South East).
When the team started in 2022, around nine people turned up for its first training session.
During the 2022/23 season the side played a few friendlies in a borrowed men’s team strip.
However, for the 2023/24 season, the team landed a main sponsor, new strip and decided to enter the league. The record was: Played 10, won 1, lost 9.
The 2024/25 campaign saw a lift in fortunes with PRUFC playing eleven matches, winning seven and losing four.
This season, the side finished with a record of winning nine matches and losing two, which was enough to clinch the championship.
A spokesperson said: “Congratulations to everyone involved in this success, particularly all the players who have been part of this journey from the beginning – you are the BEST!”

⭐️Today we can announce that our women's XV team has WON the league! ⭐️

This is the result of pure hard work, focused training, a clear vision, some amazing women players, a fantastic sponsor and the support of our whole club, family and friends.

Our journey:
- Nov 2022 - Around nine people rocked up to our first training session
- 2022-23 - Played a few friendlies in a borrowed men’s team strip
- 2023-24 – Got a main sponsor, new strip and decided to enter the league. Played 10, won 1, lost 9
- 2024-25 – Played 11, won 7, lost 4

Last match of the season on Saturday as the men's 1st XV travel to York to play in the final of the Regional 2 North East Play offs.

Tickets available for the supporter's bus, leaving the club at 1.30pm. Price is £5 return, leaving York about 6pm.
