⚽ THIS WEEKEND | Brixham Town 2nds vs SB Frankfort Reserves

Here we go. The 2026/27 season starts this Saturday, and with it comes our first ever South Devon League fixture as SB Frankfort Reserves.

A strong squad makes the trip to Brixham, with a few new faces involved as the group looks to start the new campaign on the front foot.

After a busy pre-season, plenty of minutes in the legs and a new league to attack, it’s finally time for the competitive stuff to begin.

💛💚 SQUAD ANNOUNCEMENT | 2026/27 SEASON

Our SB Frankfort Reserves squad for the 2026/27 season is confirmed.

A strong group across the pitch, with a mixture of players who were part of last season’s success and a number of additions giving us more depth and competition for places heading into our first South Devon League campaign.

Max Jackson remains captain for the new season, while Josh Colman steps up into the Vice Captain role after consistently showing the standards and leadership we want within the group.

Keanu Webb and Carl Parfitt will also take on additional leadership responsibilities this season, giving us a strong core of experienced voices both on and off the pitch.

⚽ FULL TIME | Paignton Saints 3s 2-5 SB Frankfort Reserves

Pre-season comes to an end with another strong result for the lads against a Paignton Saints side made up predominantly of their 3rds, with a few players from elsewhere in the club mixed in.

A good final test before the competitive stuff begins, with the boys producing plenty of attacking quality and getting five more goals on the board.

Maloney finishes the afternoon with a hat-trick, while Jackson and Lawrie also get themselves on the scoresheet to round off a positive performance.

⚽ FULL TIME | SB Frankfort Reserves 9-1 Dobwalls 2nds

Admin has realised he can post full time results for pre-season 👀

Just 1-0 at half time, but the lads really turned it on after the break and produced an excellent second-half performance.

The goals started flowing as we moved the ball quicker, created chance after chance and punished Dobwalls whenever the opportunities came. Plenty of different scorers involved and some very good football played throughout.

We eventually had to lend Dobwalls a player, with Arran Sturrock switching sides and, naturally, ending up scoring their goal against us. You genuinely couldn’t write it 😂

A very good result, but more importantly a strong all-round performance and another positive step forward in pre-season. All the best to Dobwalls for the upcoming season.

Pre-season continues this Saturday as we welcome Dobwalls 2nds to Manadon for our first home fixture of the summer.

Pre season continues this Saturday as we face Torpoint 3rds at Foulston Park.

A strong squad of 17 has been named for the game, with plenty of competition for places and another good opportunity to get valuable minutes into the legs.

🏆 Presentation Evening 2026 🏆

A brilliant evening at the Three Crowns on the Barbican celebrating another season together. Congratulations to all of this year’s award winners:

A special mention also goes to Jake Bell, who was awarded the Trevor Gorman Memorial Cup. This award recognises the outstanding contribution made by a young player stepping into adult football, and it couldn’t have gone to a more deserving recipient.

The trophy was presented by last year’s winner, first team player Bobby Stone.

The celebrations didn’t stop there either, with plenty of the lads staying out on the Barbican afterwards to watch England send Norway packing🍻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Congratulations again to all of our winners, and a huge thank you to everyone who has supported the club throughout the season. Here’s to another successful year in green and yellow! 💚💛⚽
