After a few weeks of no games the drakies we're back in action yesterday against Harbertonford.
Drakies Secure Hard-Fought Victory Over Fords
The Drakies wasted no time setting the tempo, earning an early penalty that Jock dispatched with clinical composure. The pressure remained high as Stan tested the keeper with several efforts before finally finding the back of the net to double the lead.
However, a dip in intensity allowed the Fords back into the game. A handball gifted them a lifeline from the penalty spot, but Bailey produced a massive save to protect the advantage. With Marsh also clearing a goal-bound effort off the line, the Drakies managed to navigate a shaky period to lead 2-1 at the break.
The second half became a physical battle, as the Fords turned to disruptive tactics and "kicking and pulling" to offset the Drakies’ superior technical play. Rather than being drawn into the scrap, the Drakies showed great maturity. They dominated the restart with relentless attacking and fluid passing, eventually breaking through with a series of excellent finishes to put the game out of reach and secure all three points

A 16 year old reffing his first game was not the best idea. Maybe help and support for him would've been a good idea.
