Devon Athletic 4 - 1 Chaddlewood Miners
Sunday saw Devon kick off their season in division 2 and they werent short of a performance at the cliff.
Although Devon started very well one ball across the box saw their winger unmarked at the back to fire in the bottom corner and Devon found themselves a goal down.
That got Devon focused and started playing their football and right on the stroke of half time R. White found T. Yendle in the box to fire home

Devon certainly stepped it up a gear in the 2nd half but it was still a tough battle for most the 2nd half untill around the 70th minute mark when T. Kellow pressed their defender on the ball and nicked it off him to run through and clinically finish it under the keeper after that chaddy looked deflated.
Not long after that B. Agar launched a long ball from out his hands to find J. Nicholls in behind the defence and before he managed to get his shot off in the box the defender caught him and the ref had no option but to point to the spot and brandish a yellow.
Up stepped J. Nicholls from the spot and fired it into the side netting
And if that didnt knock the stuffing out of Chaddy T. Kellow made sure the 3 points were staying with Devon Athletic yet again he pressed the defender to nick the ball for the 2nd time and with another low driven shot made it 4.
