We, along with thousands of others, would really like a rink in Plymouth again 🙏

Plymouth ice hockey team wants a new rink in the city to prevent 120-mile trips to Bristol

Ice hockey is the UK’s most popular indoor spectator sport, drawing more than 1.3 million attendees annually.

In Plymouth, plenty of people love the sport, however we don’t have the opportunity to watch games on home soil.

Plymouth Phoenix Ice Hockey spends at least four hours travelling every fortnight as players are forced to travel to Bristol and back.

Now they are running a petition that calls for a new ice rink in the city.

After a tight first two periods, ending the second at 3-3, penalties cost Phoenix the game, with Swindon taking advantage on the power play followed by an empty net goal to make it 5-3 to Swindon. Phoenix pushed and conceded late on to make the final score 6-3 to Swindon.
