💤 How does movement help babies sleep better? 👶✨

Babies are designed to move—and those daily movements do more than build strength and coordination. They also play an important role in healthy sleep.
Gentle movement activities like tummy time, rolling, reaching, crawling, kicking, and being carried help stimulate the vestibular system—the sensory system responsible for balance, body awareness, and spatial orientation.
When babies have regular opportunities for movement throughout the day, it can help:

According to recent physical activity guidance, little ones should spend at least 30 minutes each day having tummy time.
This time doesn’t just need to be spent laying on the floor. During a Gym Bubbas class little ones from 4 months old complete a variety of ‘tummy time’ activities and skills, helping them develop key muscles whilst having fun!

We do a lot of different strength movements with children, from babies right up to our older children. This helps with many things they do in life, not just gymnastics.
