FREE CHANBARA WORKSHOP
Saturday 17th September 2011
12.00noon till 2.00pm

Chanbara offers a fun and exciting way to learn the weapons of the martial arts in a safe and enjoyable way.

The Samurai Warriors of ancient Japan are famous for their skills in the use of the sword and other ancient weapons, now you can learn these skills safely whilst having a whole lot of fun and developing a wide range of skills that can be tested in battle in our dynamic sparring sessions using specially designed foam safety weapons.

This first FREE workshop will cover an introduction to the first 2 weapons;

Kodachi = Short Sword
Nunchaku = Rice Flail

All training weapons are provided FREE! Certificates of participation will be awarded on completion of this introductory workshop.

Open to children aged 7 and above only. Priority will be given to students who are not currently on the Chanbara Padded Weapons Programme.
