We currently run three mixed age and ability classes per week at a dedicated martial arts facility in Christian Mill



Monday 17:30 – 18:30

Thursday 18:00 – 19:00

Sunday 17:30 – 18:30



All sessions are pay as you go and just £5 per session!!!!!

Yesterday we travelled to Cardiff for the 2026 Welsh international open.

William made his junior debut and although he lost his semi final he fought extremely well against a tough opponent, he showed great determination and composure and looked like he could turn the match around but eventually lost 21. We now know what is required to turn this bronze medal in to a gold medal next time!

After what we think is a 2.5 year hiatus Katie decided to return to the ring with little training and an aspiration to try some “cool stuff” unfortunately this didn’t really go to plan as her first opponent picked up an injury 30 seconds in to the match, whilst resting in between it became apparent that Katie had also picked up an injury and meant she was unable to fight in the final which was very disappointing.

Thank you to everyone that came to support William and Katie, it goes to show what a great little club we have and we appreciate you all!

We look forward to preparing for the next event where hopefully we will have another few athletes!

Last weekend William passed his grading and is now a 1st Dan black belt!

He has spent years training and working hard week in and week out and is now ready for the next chapter of his taekwondo journey!

A few weeks have now passed since this years national championships and as we reflect on Sian’s performances there is so much we as a club are proud of.

It was her first time fighting in both junior and senior categories and although her junior match didn’t go the way we would’ve wanted it to she still managed to regroup and put in an excellent performance against a strong opponent in her senior category, unfortunately it wasn’t quite enough for a victory but she showed maturity and strength and this will sit well as she transitions in to seniors next year.

Sian should be extremely proud of her performance in seniors and her well deserved bronze medal.

We continue to work hard in training and look forward to 2026!

Today we are in Sheffield for the 2025 British Taekwondo National Championships.

This years event has over 950 athletes competing over two days. Sian is competing in both junior and senior categories which could mean up to 5 matches for her today!

Preparation has gone really well and now we go and test ourselves against some the best fighters this country has to offer
