It is with great sadness that West Devon Netball League announce the sudden passing of Claire Blatchford-Norsworthy.

Claire represented West Devon over many years as a player, committee member, coach and loyal friend, whilst also dedicating her life to caring for others as a fantastic nurse and mother of two children.

She was known for her biggest smile, positive attitude towards life and, of course, her fabulous curls and eyelashes. Claire supported so many people within our netball community and beyond, always bringing kindness, encouragement and warmth wherever she went.

She will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Our thoughts and love are with Claire’s family, friends and teammates at this incredibly difficult time. 💛

Her funeral is 3rd june 12.00 at Plymouth Crematorium The Park.
Dress code is bright colours.

Is there a young person at your club or league who is involved with coaching sessions, officiating, youth group, etc. A young leader who is inspiring the next generation?

✨ Special Recognition Award – A volunteer Leaving a legacy 🎉
Is there a volunteer at your club or league who has selflessly given up their time with incredible contribution over 25+ years. That someone who has made a mark or working quietly in the background, but their contribution has made an impact in the netball world. This could be a committee member, administrator, coach, official, etc.
