Pull day … Back and Biceps. At the start of the workout I did a few sets of pull-ups and press-ups to get the blood flowing

Over the last few weeks I’ve been giving back to the community by delivering a few exercise sessions for seniors. This style of delivery was completely new to me and definitely pushed me out of my comfort zone. I’m used to being able to call out drills and really push clients to get the most out of a session, but delivering Chair-Based Exercise required a very different approach.

It was a great experience, and everyone who took part did extremely well, which helped me feel more relaxed and confident as the sessions went on.

Hopefully their funding application is successful so the community can bring in a full-time instructor. It would make a huge difference and benefit so many people.

Complete a 5k run followed by a full bodyweight circuit. Complete all exercises with no or minimal rest inbetween movements. Once all 8 exercises are complete rest for 60 seconds before moving onto the next round/set
