Shoutout to the lads at East Village Monday Night Footy, one of our FootballMatcher groups, for showing what real team spirit looks like.

When one of their players was diagnosed with cancer, they didn’t just step up—they organized a 7-a-side tournament to raise money for his Movember JustGiving page. It was an amazing example of how casual football goes beyond the game—players coming together to support each other!

This is why, at FootballMatcher, we love the casual kickaround and everything it can lead to. Moments like this fuel our drive to keep building an organizing app that helps more of these community kickarounds come together and thrive. Huge respect to the East Village crew. Let’s keep building something special. ⚽💪
