ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!
This week, the tennis court nets were vandalised and destroyed by children breaking into the courts—either by climbing over the high fencing or reaching through to open the entrance gate.
Once inside, they sit and swing on the nets, damage the equipment and throw glass bottles into the air, leaving dangerous shards scattered across the courts.
Even more disgracefully, some parents sit nearby and allow it to happen.
These courts are not a playground or a place to destroy property. They are paid-for facilities used by people who book and respect them. Because of this selfish and reckless behaviour, legitimate tennis players are now left without a usable court.
The rules are clearly displayed on the entrance gate.
READ THEM. RESPECT THEM. FOLLOW THEM.
Breaking into the courts, vandalising the nets and smashing glass is not harmless fun. It is criminal damage, it puts others at risk of serious injury and it ruins a community facility for everyone else.
Parents: take responsibility for your children.
Those responsible: stop treating the park as though it belongs only to you.
The vandalism must stop. The courts must be respected. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

THIS IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE.
This is probably the worst state we have ever seen the park left in.
Rubbish was strewn across the entire area. Boxed games had been opened and thrown around, used baby nappies were discarded on the ground, children’s scooters were abandoned, and human faeces and soiled wipes were found behind the bushes.
It took ONE FULL HOUR for people who genuinely care about this park to clean up the disgusting mess left behind by others.
The council has installed larger bins for everyone to use. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO EXCUSE!!
If you bring rubbish into the park, put it in a bin or take it home.
DO NOT leave your filth behind and expect responsible members of the community to clean up after you. This behaviour shows a complete lack of respect for the park, local residents, children, wildlife and everyone else who uses this space.
The park belongs to the whole community—not to a selfish minority who treat it like a dumping ground.
Use the bins. Clean up after yourselves. Show some RESPECT!!
