🥗 What’s for lunch?

Keeping it simple today — tuna, avocado, eggs, salad and a few pickled onions 🌶️🥑🥚

A good mix of protein, healthy fats and plenty of veggies to keep me fuelled and satisfied for the rest of the day 💪

Healthy eating doesn’t have to be complicated and can be super tasty too!

Not every day is a good training day — and that’s okay. ❤️

Today definitely wasn’t mine.

I came to the gym early this morning before work, but clearly hadn’t warmed up properly. I ended up giving myself an injury, and if I’m being honest, the rest of the session was pretty half-hearted.

We’re often guilty of thinking that every session has to be productive, every workout has to be a success, and every day has to go to plan. The reality is that sometimes they simply don’t.

The important thing is what we do with those days.

Instead of seeing today as a failure, I’m choosing to see it as feedback.

What can I learn from it?

➡️ Take more time to warm up properly.
➡️ Listen to my body rather than pushing through for the sake of it.
➡️ Accept that backing off when something doesn’t feel right is sometimes the smartest thing to do.
➡️ Remember that one bad session doesn’t undo weeks, months or years of hard work.

Progress isn’t about getting everything right every single time. It’s about learning, adapting and coming back stronger.

So if today hasn’t been your day either — don’t beat yourself up.

A bad day is just that: one day. Turn the negative into a lesson, take the positive from it, and move forward.

Tomorrow is another opportunity. 💪

September is nearly here, and for me, it always feels like a natural time to reset.

Once the kids go back to school, routines start to fall back into place, and I find myself craving a bit of structure again.

There’s a lot going on in my life right now. A lot of change, a lot to process, and honestly, some days feel pretty overwhelming.

But one thing I know I need right now is exercise.

Not just for the physical side of things, but for my head too. To get out, move my body, switch off, feel strong and give myself something positive to focus on.

Sometimes you don’t need to have everything figured out. You just need to take that first step.

So if September is your time to reset, get back into a routine and start putting yourself back on the list — I’m here. 🤍

If you need a kick-start, DM me.
Let’s get you moving. 💪

Some days, even as a personal trainer, I don’t feel like doing it.

I don’t wake up motivated every single day, and I think it’s important to be honest about that. Today was one of those days where I really didn’t feel like getting out and moving.

But I did it anyway and ended up going much further than I thought.

Over 11,000 steps later, and I’m in a completely different headspace. I feel clearer, calmer and more positive — simply because I made the decision to move.

It’s a good reminder that movement doesn’t have to be perfect to make a difference.

It doesn’t always have to be a structured workout, a long run or a session in the gym. Sometimes it’s a walk around the block, some stretching, getting outside for some fresh air, or simply taking a few minutes away from your desk.

Movement is movement, and every little bit helps.

As a trainer, I don’t expect my clients to feel motivated every day either. Motivation naturally comes and goes. What matters is finding ways to keep moving, even when motivation is low, and recognising that doing something is always better than doing nothing.

So if today isn’t your most motivated day, don’t put pressure on yourself to do everything.

Start small. Go for the walk. Do 10 minutes. Get outside. Move your body in whatever way feels manageable.

You might be surprised by how different you feel afterwards.

You don’t always need motivation to get started — sometimes taking action is what creates it. 💪🏼

It’s been an extremely hot week down south, which has meant exercise has been minimal. I wanted to rest after last week’s run anyway, although I’ll admit I anticipated doing a little more than I did! But that’s okay — our bodies need rest sometimes and there’s no way I was doing much in that heat 🥵😬

With a long drive ahead of me today, I wanted to get out for a run along the beautiful canal this morning, and I’m so glad I did. It was just what I needed. 🏃‍♀️🌿

I’m looking forward to getting back into a routine tomorrow, although I’ve had the absolute best time with the family and wouldn’t change a thing. ❤️

All messages will be replied to tomorrow, work resumes Tuesday, and classes resume Wednesday.

See you all soon!

Much love,
Tasmin x

I ACTUALLY DID IT. 🥹❤️🐾

1hr 57 mins

Oh my goodness… I don’t even know where to begin. I’ve only gone and completed my first ever half marathon — 13.1 miles — all in aid of animal care. 🐾

There were so many moments during the training where I questioned whether I could actually do it. It has been one of the biggest challenges I’ve ever set myself, physically and mentally, and there were definitely days where I wanted to give up.

But today, I crossed that finish line. And honestly… I’m so incredibly proud of myself. 🥹

I’ve cried happy tears, laughed, felt completely exhausted, and had the biggest feeling of achievement I think I’ve ever experienced. It’s amazing what you can do when you push yourself, believe in yourself and just keep putting one foot in front of the other.

And if there’s one thing I want you to take from this, it’s this:

You really can do anything you put your mind to.
It might feel impossible at the beginning. You might doubt yourself. You might have days where you don’t feel strong enough. But keep going. Keep believing. Keep taking that next step. ❤️

And now for the part I’m struggling to put into words…

THANK YOU. 🥹

Thank you to every single person who has donated, shared my fundraiser, sent me a message, encouraged me, checked in on me or simply believed I could do it.

Your generosity has honestly blown me away. We have now raised OVER £1,800 for animal care and I genuinely can’t thank you enough. 🐾❤️

A huge thank you to Simon, for encouraging me every step of the way and for taking on the half marathon alongside me. Having you there made such a difference, and I’m so grateful we got to experience this together.

Thank you to Mya and my family, for always believing in me, even when I wasn’t sure I believed in myself. Your support means more than you know.

Thank you to my wonderful friends and clients, who constantly told me I could do it, encouraged me, listened to me talk about running approximately a million times 😂 and reminded me that it really was possible.

And finally, thank you to the complete strangers who cheered me on today. You may never know just how much those little moments meant. Every clap, shout, smile and “COME ON!” gave me another little burst of energy when I needed it most. ❤️

Today wasn’t just about running 13.1 miles.

It was about proving to myself that I could do something that once felt completely out of reach — and doing it for something I care so deeply about.

For the animals. 🐾❤️

So, from the bottom of my heart… THANK YOU.

£1,800+ raised.
13.1 miles completed.
One very emotional, exhausted and incredibly happy runner. 🥹🏃‍♀️

I DID IT. ❤️
