Ive managed to secure Balgownie Bowling Club on Saturday 1st of August for the Grampian Disability Sport Bowls event. Entries will open by the 1st of July and information will be distributed before then.

I will also be asking as usual for Markers, umpires and VI Callers

Continuing our celebration of Volunteers' Week , we're resharing boccia’s Belle Beau Brown's story, for Belle and her family are fast becoming a key part of Scottish boccia’s volunteer network.💙

A wee while ago, we had the chance to speak to Belle and her father about her introduction to the sport of . Over the last year she has proven herself as one of Scotland’s rising stars on the Scottish boccia scene.🌟

One of the first times that Belle tried boccia was at one of SDS Women and Girls engagement event. Since then, it has been an upwards trajectory, with her whole family getting involved in boccia.

👋We're looking for volunteers for the Grampian Parasport Festival which is taking place Sunday 30th August at Inverurie Community Campus from 9am to 3.30pm. Helping out could include: taking part in any activities alongside our participants, supporting the setting up/packing away of equipment, helping with directions around the venue etc.
