Pleasure sponsoring Letham Community AFC pre match shirt!
A team I started out with, letham tangerines U'10s and won the 3rd division with community. so always good to give back.
A nice touch having Felix and Arron presenting the team with the shirts after both playing for letham as well.
Ironically 10+yrs ago I used to coach Arrons team! Now here we are I'm trying to tell him to keep his guard up!

Corrie & Mackay stepped up last night away in Aberdeen.
Mackay was first to go, Undoubtedly lost the first round but knowing his opponent could not keep up that pace Mackay had a miraculous come back with an excellent and dominant 2&3 round however the loss of the first round was enough for him to loose the fight.
Corrie straight after!
Corrie came in wanting to exchange but his opponent was an excellent pressure fighter. Nothing pretty just a horrible brawl of swinging and grappling, no one could really use show their skillset but a bit of magic worked towards the end of the 2nd round when corrie started to land clean crisp combos. But again not enough to convince the score cards

Hardlines for the lads always difficult on an away show.
But it's the experience that is gained that we take away!

On to the next

Wasn't to be for Jimmy on Friday night!
A really tough opponent that are no strangers to each other and have settled plenty of split results on the mats.
A strong 20 Partizans went through to support Jimmy Mcgregor on the night. Great team outing
Congratulations to Shea on winning a unanimous victory for the WKU Scottish title
Hardlines for wee Jimmy but back to the drawing board and graft for Jimmy, he will be off to Thailand next month hopefully for a leg and torso extention!

"𝗕𝗢𝗨𝗧 𝗧𝗜𝗠𝗘"

After many tough opponents, hard losses and wrong ends on split decisions Corrie had is hand raised last night with an unanimous decision!

Corries opponent created big problems with his lead teep and long reach, corries composure and determination seen him through with excellent hands and chopping down on his opponents lead leg.
A great show put together from Robertsons Martial Arts

This win doesn't show the sweat blood and determination this young man goes through, he has easily been the most active 16yr old in the country for the last 2 months. Keep up the good work and no doubt I will probably see you at training tomorrow 🤣

What a class event held in Helensburgh last night!

First up we had a Mackay! From the bell he was under pressure from his opponent but Mackay showed excellent composure for his second boxing bout while showcasing his ability after a split decision Mackays hand was raised for the win!

Second we had Naomi coming back into the ring for the first time in a while! Naomis boxing has came on fantastic since coming back to train with us at the start of the year, her opponent was throwing dangerous right hands but Naomi's movement and boxing iQ was on form! Naomi walked away with a unanimous decision

Third, last but not least! Corrie a lad that never backs away for a bout!
Corrie walked into his first Thai bout and made some introduction!
Another fantastic fight from the young man listening skills on top making sure his striking was clinical end to end and already a big improvement from his loss last week! Corries dominance into the later rounds looked like he secured the win but unfortunately corries hand wanst raised and we lost this bout on a split decision. Hard one to take as I felt and everyone in the room felt he won it. However that won't stop him entering the ring and we will go again!

Brilliant support from our guys back home for our fighters and our coaches
2 weeks and we are back to it!
