Ealing Canoe Club

Ealing Canoe Club Ealing Canoe Club is a racing club (marathon and sprint), but we also run beginner kayak courses and promote other canoe sports. Join Us!

We are an inclusive and friendly local community club, focused on the sport of sprint and marathon kayak flatwater racing, for fun, fitness, personal achievement, and competition. We are located in Perivale, West London on the south side of Horsenden Hill next to the Grand Union Canal. We have a good mix of adults, who participate for the fun of paddling, racing and in endurance events such as the

Devizes to Westminster, and juniors, who have been successful in winning the Geoff Sanders Trophy in the last two years. Come along on a Saturday or Taster session and try out kayaking and canoeing!

Ealing junior team went to Guildford, on the river Wey, to take a
part in the Hare & Hounds 6 miles course. It is based on a time trial
format with the slowest paddlers starting first and faster ones later
with the aim of everybody finishing at the same time. All entrants are expected to complete the course in under 90 minutes. It was a fun day out! Results are here!

Longridge triumph!

Firstly congrats to Leo an Philip in div 9 who raced at Longridge. However the most exciting news of course is that Alastair Veal, the member who stayed in Div 9 longer than any other member in the history of Ealing Canoe Club, indeed in the longest serving kayaker in in Div 9 in the entire history of the British Canoe Union, finally in an act of mercy was promoted to Div 8.
