Hey freshers! Congratulations and welcome to the University of Wi******er!
We are the volleyball society and looking for new members to join our ever growing family🏐 Whether you are an experienced volleyball player or would just like to try something new we invite you to come and meet our committee at the freshers fayre. We are excited to meet you all and will answer any questions you may have!

The volleyball society is the perfect place to meet new people, stay active, and to have loads of fun along the way. We have a mens and women’s team with a joint social training alongside which our fantastic captains and vice captains run!

If you are interested in only the social side of university life we offer the best of both worlds. Our weekly socials to BOP with creative themes from our social secs is a perfect opportunity to meet a wonderful group of people and have a really fun night out!

We would love to see new faces alongside our current members, it can be incredibly intimidating joining a new society with a bunch of people you do not know, but we promise you will be welcome with open arms and everyone you ask will say it was the best decision they ever made!

We can’t believe that the year is already over, but time has come and we have to say goodbye (for now)🏐

This year has been massive for volleyball and it’s all thanks to you!! Thank you to all of our fantastic freshers who made this year exciting and fun, even tho you made the committee lose a few brain cells here and there🫣

Special thanks to our wonderful grads who we will miss very dearly next year (just wait for grad bop😼)

And lastly a special thanks to our amazing committee who worked day and night to ensure everyone enjoyed their experience with us here in volleyball🏐✨

We already have big things planned and we can’t wait to see everyone next year!! Have a nice summer and see you all soon🏐

⭐️BOP UPDATE:⭐️

There will be no volleyball pres for Bop this week (Wednesday 27th). We have decided to boycott this night out along with many other societies in Wi******er in response to the rise in spiking cases not only in Wi******er but around the UK.
We hope by doing this it will encourage SU/ clubs in Wi******er to introduce new safety measures to prevent spiking in clubs.

Instead, we thought it would be a good idea to get together as a society for a big night in!
