⭐️County Cup Runners Up⭐️

A huge well done to our squad that played at Wigton today at the county tournament, finishing second 🥈the girls put in great performances across all their games making it to the final. It was a strongly contested final that finished with a 0-0 draw where Wigton went on to take the win on penalty flicks 🏑

A great day all round with lovely team spirit. Well done girls ❤️ Also a massive thank you to Wigton Hockey Club for hosting the tournament 😁

📆Day: every Wednesday starting 9th September
🕖Time: 6-7pm
📍Location: Penrith Leisure Centre

We’ve been a little quiet over the last few months enjoying a well earned rest but also working hard behind the scenes to prepare for the upcoming season 🙌🏻

As preseason is fast approaching we have a few specific roles to advertise:

🏑Our Women’s 1st Team are looking for a new coach to help us achieve our goals for the season ahead
🥅We are also looking for a GK who has the availability to train on a Monday and play for our Women’s 1st team on a Saturday

If you or someone you know is interested in coaching then please get in touch ⭐️ likewise if you are interested in joining our club as either a GK or outfield player our preseason training starts Monday 10th August. Everyone welcome ❤️

PENRITH HOCKEY CLUB CEILIDH 2026 💃🏻

We wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Ceilidh last Friday! What a fantastic night of dancing, food and laughter we had … and to top it all we raised a total of £902 for the club 💸

A big shoutout to and for very kindly sponsoring the Ceilidh by donating us some alcohol 🍻 and also to all of the parents and volunteers who helped out either on the evening or by baking/making food for us to serve 🍰

Finally a massive well done to Emma who worked so hard to organise the whole evening and to for their amazing music all evening 🎶

A huge well done to our junior girls who flew the flag for Penrith Hockey Club last weekend representing the county …

🔴 Lucy played on Saturday and did a fantastic job as our only U12 girl to be playing at county level 🙌🏻

⚫️ On Sunday, we had the Penrith trio of Cara, Ella and Maeve representing at U14 level 👏🏻

A massive well done girls! Lovely to see our young players representing the county! A reminder that our junior training continues until May half term! No experience needed and everyone welcome ❤️
