PENISTONE CHURCH U7 WHITES PRESENTATION NIGHT: DONE ✅🏆

Season 25/26 is officially in the books, and last night we sent it off in style 😎

🥇 Every single U7 White walked out with an award last night. Because every single one earned it. From first goal to first tackle to first time actually listening to the coach — we celebrated it all.

This was the first of many. First trophies,First speeches. First time seeing them in shirts without mud on. It wont be the last.

Kids: Suited, booted, grinning like they’d just won the Premier League. Awards held tighter than their Xbox controllers.

Coaches: Finally got to have a drink without 10 kids asking “what score is it” Absolute heroes all season. The patience of saints, the tactical nous of Pep. Sort of 😂

Parents You scrubbed up well. You survived the speeches, the sugar rush, and the emotional bit where we all realized they’re not babies anymore. You also survived 9 months of early starts. That’s the real trophy 🍻

To see them all up there together as teammates, as friends that’s what this club’s about.

You started as individuals. You finished as a team. Proud doesn’t cut it 😁

Year One = complete. Memories = banked. Standard = set.

Rest up. Clean the boots. We go again in August/September💪🏻

🏆 CUP FINAL HEARTBREAK... BUT WHAT A SEASON TO REMEMBER 🏆

Extra time was all that could separate two brilliant teams today. A narrow defeat in our cup final, but every single one of these kids left the pitch with heads held high 👏🏻

It was end-to-end, toe-to-toe football in beautiful conditions. Chances, tackles, last-ditch blocks — proper cup final stuff. In the end it wasn’t our day, but the effort, heart, and togetherness was everything we ask for 👌🏼

Freddie lit it up with 2 clinical goals = fully deserved Player of the Match 🔥⚽⚽

George was everywhere — tackles, passes, strength — Parents’ POTM and then some 💪🏻

And just like that... the final whistle also closes the book on our first ever season as a team 🎬

Massive thanks to Mark & Eric — your time, patience, and belief in building this team 🧠👊

You turned up in September as teammates. You’re finishing in May as a squad, A family❤️

To all the parents for the early starts, the sideline roars, the oranges at HT, and backing the team every week. We couldn’t do it without you 🙌

But the stats don’t show the cold Evening training, the comeback wins, the car ride singalongs, or the friendships built on that pitch. That’s the real win.💯

Summers Not done yet 3, maybe 4 tournaments still to go and more memories to make 😎🏆

FINAL BOUND!!!🏆💥

Pen*stone Church U7 Whites turned up the heat on a beautiful sunny day ☀️ and booked our place in the final! What a shift from this squad — work rate, teamwork, and smiles the whole way 😁🤍

The goals flew in:
Rupert was unplayable with a class HAT-TRICK! 🎩⚽⚽⚽ Two feet, quick feet, big finishes.
Ruben was on fire too, grabbing a brilliant BRACE! 🔥⚽⚽
& Freddie slotted one home to send the parents wild 🚀⚽

This wasn’t just about goals though it was a proper team performance 👊 Every player dug in, backed each other up, and played with heart.

🏅 Rupert — Coaches’ Player of the Match for that hat-trick + all-round class

🏆 Ruben — Parents’ Player of the Match for his brace & endless effort

🧤 Monty — safe hands and massive kicks all game. Kept us in it when it mattered

🛡️ Abel — first to every tackle, always switched on at the back. Defender’s dream

🧱 George — calm, strong, and solid. Nothing got past him today

⚡ Esme — engine of the team. Non-stop running, chasing, creating. Outstanding today 👏🏻

💪 Greyson — pure grit and determination. Won his battles and never stopped 🚀

😎 William - high pressing and full of support for his teammates.

🎯 Freddie- took his goal brilliantly and worked so hard for the team all game.

From first whistle to last, the Whites gave EVERYTHING 💪🏻 The sun was shining, the football was flowing, and the kids made us all proud 👏👏

⚽️🔥Pen*stone Church U7 Whites ⚽🔥

2 games in 2 days and these kids left EVERYTHING out there! 💪🏻🙌

Sunday saw us take a trip over to Rotherham 🗺️⚽ Tough game, narrow loss in the end on a tricky pitch 🏟 But the team stuck at it and could’ve easily snatched a draw — just wasn’t our day! Super shifts from Abel & Esme taking Player of the Match & Coaches’ Player 🏆🌟 with goals from Ruben & Rupert to keep us right in it! 🥅🎯

Monday night we bounced straight back with another trip to Rotherham… but this time we brought the W home! ✈️✅ Tired legs? Yep. Massive hearts? ALWAYS ❤️💥 The team played some lovely stuff, creating chances all game on a perfect South Yorkshire evening ☀️⚽ George and Monty bossed it to grab Player of the Match & Coaches’ Player 🏅👏

Honestly, everyone played BRILLIANTLY across both games. We couldn’t be prouder of the effort from every single one of you 👏👏 Keep up the amazing work, team!

And a HUGE shoutout to ABEL — Player of the Month! 🥇🏆 Fully deserved, Well played!

⚽️ PENISTONE U7 DERBY DAY ⚽️

Today saw us take on our counterparts Pen*stone Church U7 Blacks 2025-26. With playground bragging rights on the line The squad brought the HEAT today 💥! We trailed early, but bounced back after Ruben leveled with a calm finish💪🏻, we continued with our momentum from previous weeks and with that saw Rupert break through to hand us the lead👌🏼, Freddie tapped another home with confidence 😎 and Abel sealed it at the end🔥 A complete team performance this week that all the team members can hold their heads high with. 👏 EFFORT, RESILIENCE & COMPOSURE all on display today 💯.

⚽️ GRIND MODE ACTIVATED ⚽️

It's been a tough game out there today, but WE SHOWED UP! and got the job done👏. Taking the lead early doors and creating plenty of chances throught the game, the whole teams performance was top notch this afternoon with a brilliant attitude from start to finish 💪 plenty positives to take away from the game with Goals from Rupert, and a brace from Ruben⚽️. Abel working his socks off getting stuck into challenges, Monty George and freddie holding the line in defence stopping the opposition threats, William and Greyson with a brilliant display in midfield creating chances and stopping attacks🧱. It was a closely contested game at times but our quality shone through.

And not forgetting our player of the month MONTY🏆 who has really started to show his confidence inbetween the sticks. His kicking and use of his hands with last ditch saves and fearless approach to the ball have kept us in many a game.🧤

Back to winning ways this week💥 Our Team smashed it today with a solid win! The team stayed cool, trusted their skills, and showed BELIEF! 💪

A big shoutout to Monty in goal - SUPERB! 🙌 George nailed it in defence, Esme battled hard in midfield, Freddie with some good movement with runs down the wing and Greyson scored his first league goal! 🎯 Ruben & William on fire with two sharp goals each also Rupert with the tricky dribbling and a cool finish for his goal 🔥Captain Abel led with passion, and the whole squad played like a well-oiled machine 😎.

😎A Good Game in the sunshine!😎

Huge shoutout to the whole squad for showing up and giving it everything! A narrow loss this week but we only ever win or learn 💪🏻. We saw some cracking plays and individual brilliance out there today with the whole team's work rate been top-notch 👏. The wind might've been howling, but it didn't stop us pushing for that equaliser 😂! But It wasn't to be after a few close attempts and the crossbar getting rattled.

We move forward and onto the next one.
