Not the outcome we were looking for this morning in the final rd of the SYL in Div 3. We finished third overall. We were up against some terrific Pickleball players from Let’s D**k and Barnsley, losing both these games, but pinched a win from Stocksbridge 2.

It’s been a great 5 months overall, we will come stronger in the next series of events.

Well done and thank you to all the players who have represented the Picklers.

We look forward to tomorrow morning when Team Pen*stone will be playing in Div 3 of the South Yorkshire League. It’s the final rd so we will give it our all to secure top spot in Division 3 and finish the season on a massive high for the club.

Two members form the Picklers were in action this morning at the Peak Pickleball Sheffield Over 60s Mixed Doubles comp. Played 6 games winning 4 and losing 2, but managed to come away with a Silver Medal.
Some great games and tough competitors. We played all.

What a fabulous night of Pickleball in the final Rd of the Pennine League. Having been promoted in Rd 4 to Div 1 we knew we would have some tough games against Doncaster, Barnsley and Wakefield.

We finished bottom of Division 1 losing 4-0, 4-0 and 3-1, but the games were very close and the Picklers were in most of the games losing 15-14, 15-13 etc

We had a fabulous night and played some amazing Pickleball.

Huge Congratulations to Wakefield who beat Barnsley in a dream breaker.

I want to thank all the Pen*stone players who have been amazing throughout the Pennine League event

The Picklers are in action tonight as we play in Rd 5 of the Pennine Lge. Tough one tonight as we step into Div 1 for the final Rd, some good teams and very good pickle ballers. We will give it our best shot.

The Picklers were in South Yorkshire league action this morning playing Stocksbridge first, securing a 3-1 win.

Up next was Barnsley 1 and a 2-2 draw, then Barnsley 3, where again a 2-2 draw secured second spot overall.

Congratulations to Barnsley 3 who were promoted this morning to Division 2.

The Picklers are back in action this week at PGS (Wed & Fri) with 2 sessions of Recreational Pickleball. We are also
Playing in the SYL this Sunday morning at Hoyland Leisure Centre.

Great night for the Picklers tonight playing in Rd 4 of the Pennine League. Team Pen*stone finished top of Division 2 and will be promoted to Division 1 for the final Rd of this season.
